I think there is only one and only stall at Chomp Chomp selling porridge. If you are looking for something light for your palate, you can try this porridge stall. I usually go for the pork porridge as I love to have a lot of porky ingredients in my bowl of porridge. The youtiao is also nicely toasted before serving, hence it still have a bit of crisp on it. The porridge itself is smooth, silky and flavourful.
Some may think Macaroni Soup as convalescence (sick person) food but it is my comfort food.
Nothing beats hot chicken soup with chicken, veggies and softer macaroni elbows on a rainy day.So it was comforting to find this stall on a rainy day trip to Chomp Chomp
It is not one of those macaroni soups that you find sold together with chicken rice but this stall actually specialises in it.
There were yummy shallot crisps, tender chicken pieces and soft veggies in a piping hot, tasty broth.I ate every single drop of it Spending: Approximately SGD 3
Have tried the chicken macaroni here but decided to try the rojak instead.
I didnt regret because the rojak was awesome!
The you tiao and tau pok were toasted to perfection and were crunchy and tasty.
There were many ingredients and the fruit and vegetable slices were generous cuts.
Will definitely be back for more great-tasting rojak from this stall.
The service is excellent, with the stall assistants ensuring that the customers are attended to as quickly as possible.Spending: Approximately SGD 4
