Chomp Chomp carrot cake is another food that amaze me rather than Seafood BBQ. The carrot cake is not very dark in color, so not that sweet. Smell of the egg just make the carrot cake more tastier. A must NOT miss out food when at Chomp Chomp.
This is my favourite stall at Chomp Chomp for both the Fried Carrot Cake and Fried Oyster.
The Fried Carrot Cake is fried to perfection with a nice crisp on the outside. The chilli used was also very nice not too overly spicy. Important is not too oily.
The Fried Oyster is also pretty good here. I like the way they freid it to a nice charred crisp. They are also generous in the oyster which was fresh.
For dinner today, me and a group of friends decided to head down to Chomp Chomp to eat. Chomp Chomp is a hawker centre much like Newton\'s square with a wide variety of delicious Singaporean famous foods.They have stalls selling dishes from satay beehoon to Singaporean famous dishes like Hokkien Mee and Char Kway Teow and also BBQ Stingray.
We ordered a plate of the carrot cake from the stall and it was deliciouis. The carrot cake had servings of prawns for all prawn lovers.
Carrot cake is a common dish found at nearly every food/hawker center. One get to choose white or black (with sauce). I\'m fine with both but had a craving for the latter one night and decided to pop by Chomp Chomp for supper. The cook must be very generous with the black sauce and it spoilt the dish.
