MURATA ELECTRONICS SINGAPORE (PTE) LTD, established in 1972, was one of the first factories set up by Murata outside Japan to meet the demands of electronic components in South East Asia.

Since its establishment, it has undergone several major expansion programmes. Today, it is one of the largest chip monolithic ceramic capacitors factories in the world.
