Walk over to the nearby Redhill market for lunch today and ordered a Ban Mian for a low price of $2.50.

The ban mian is pretty good, but isn't top quality when it comes to taste. The soup is needs more flavour and the noodles needs a to cook a little longer. However, it makes up with the quantity, as the bowl of noodles is pretty huge.

Another recommended dish is the fried dumplings (涡贴). It's fried quite well, and the vinegar is very sour and makes a really good dip. It's cheaper than elsewhere too, selling at $4 for 10 pieces.

Will be back for the cheap food =)
Spending: Approximately SGD 3(Lunch)

Another first time experience. I ordered the fish soup with rice from this stall for the first time. It came with 4 pieces of nicely fried fish fillet. The fish tasted quite fresh. The fish soup came with vegetable to make it taste healthier. The soup is quite tasty with no hint of MSG. I feel healthier after such healthy lunch. I think i would try it with noodle next time.
