I strongly recommend this place to everyone viewing this; if you are hunting for a birthday treat for your other half, anniversary dinner or any other special occasions that you wish to celebrate with your peers, this is the place to go to.
My bill came up to about 140 for two pax for the 7 course meal and I believe that is extremely reasonable for such a spread and quality of food. Had the beef as main and my partner chose the lamb shank; both tasted heavenly. Service was impeccable, though they don't speak the best english but they did their part really well by explaining every single dish that was served, including how we should have it and etc.
Ambience was another plus - very romantic and pretty classy. I was there on Sunday night and the crowd was pretty alright, good enough for a romantic dinner date. Please make your reservation now, this gem deserves to be raved about!
Very good food and service. Very nice view from the window too. 7 course meal for $60++, very reasonable for such standard.
Must tries: freshly baked warm chocolate cake with icecream, foie gras, beef tataki with shaved parmesan truffle mayo, escargots
A fine dining like, degustation menu await you as you step into this relaxing restaurant with excellent service. Every dish is special, and delightful. It's a 7 dish course and each is beautifully decorated and delicious. They change the menu slightly every few months, and given the cost, it's best to visit it only for special occasions. But it would be every penny's worth. Recommended !

Dozo is a nice and intimate restaurant located in a suburban mall which belies its looks. Once you step in, it is a posh looking interior but still mostly black and purple decor with elaborate ornaments and lighting. The waiters provide excellent service and attend to your every need. However sometimes they try a bit too hard and their jokes are a bit lame and corny as they joke about the food.
They have a well known 6-7 course set meal which I ordered, where you get to choose from a range of dishes for each course. The food is generally well presented on special tableware and plates. One of the popular mains was the beef tenderloin on "Pu-Ye" leaf on hot granite stone which cooked the raw tenderloin. Quite showy!
Overall Dozo is a great place for a special occasion and it is not too expensive however you may find that the portions are smaller than expected. It is still worth giving this place a try.
