After successfully designing and developing RSA’s corporate website, the Client had decided to select ComnetSolutions to develop their intranet. The main focus for the Intranet was to have a one stop portal for pushing all internal information out to staff and also a centralized point of downloads for all the relevant documents and forms.
A “Fun” area was also to be incorporated into the site to enable staff to view photos of RSA events and also Staff celebrations.
ComnetSolutions rendered our help in developing a simple to use Content Management System to allow their staff to upload information, documents, resources and pictures on their intranet. With this CMS in place, the Client was empowered to keep the intranet updated by the minute without the assistance of any IT staff of Vendor.

ComnetSolutions was engaged by APL LIMITED, a wholly owned subsidiary of Neptune Orient Lines, to design and develop an intuitive e-commerce web store to host a wide array of their items ranging from apparels to office supplies.
Due to their extensive network, the online ordering and eventual delivery of the products had to be in sync with their warehouses around the world. Since their range of products tend to be refreshed quite often, we developed a Content Management System (CMS) which enables them to update their product ranges as and when they had to.
In addition to that, they are able to display and promote any items within their range on the main page similar to a shop window’s concept. They also had news and announcements they wished to publish at a regular frequency.
ComnetSolutions were contracted again after this to develop an Intranet for APL and its vendors which provided access to various corporate artwork within the organization in low/high-res.

A-Star contracted ComnetSolutions to produce a new website which caters to the dynamic and youthful energy of the younger generation. ComnetSolutions integrated several Content Management modules for IHPC as they wanted to constantly update their site with newest research findings and articles.
Another challenge that ComnetSolutions managed to see through was to keep the site optimized at all costs as quick loading on PDAs was IHPC’s main concern. Hence, although no flash was used to cut short loading time, the design of the entire site was not compromised as Java Scripts, Rotating Divs and CSS was employed to make up for the absence of flash.
The entire site was also designed to load nicely on PDAs. Testing was carried out on PDAs to ensure this factor was met.
