Its important before starting the long process of weight loss to consider the time it took to put the weight on initially. It is important that you consider safety factors when dieting. Starting a diet is not only not practical, it is often unsafe and unhealthy. There are many things you can do to start losing weight.
Although this may sound a bit far fetched, please hear me out. Reduce as much stress as possible by meditating, resting, reading, taking time for yourself, or whatever works to help reduce your sensation of stress. When we are stressed, our bodies naturally slow down the metabolism function because historically food scarcity has been known to cause stress.
While it is recommended to eat constantly throughout the day, junk food needs to be avoided. At a minimum each day, you should eat six small meals, spaced regularly. This will fool your body into believing that the next meal is running on schedule and thereby metabolizing the last meal resulting into faster metabolism.
Proper absorption and digestion of food is inhibited because human bodies contain toxins, fecal matter, and other unnecessary junk. To quickly reduce your weight, give yourself more energy and a healthier physical appearance, try a complete body cleanse.
With almost absolute certainty, I can say that you are not drinking enough water. Do you know how much you should be drinking? Let's say that you are 180 pounds, so, you should be drinking at minimum 90 ounces of water daily. The formula for the amount you drink is divide your weight in pounds by two and that's the number in ounces of water you should drink every day. Note: tap water is not an option. The best choice is to drink water filtered through reverse osmosis alternately with distilled water. If you can't stand the taste of water, then add fresh squeezed lemons, but no sugar or sugar substitutes.
Even a thirty minute brisk walk will do wonders for your weight, with forty-five minutes to an hour of aerobic exercise being ideal for overall health.
It is difficult for most people to eat a balanced diet. What we need to so add supplements to your diet and it wouls be hard to eat enought food to give us. Be careful to not be tempted to get them from Wal-Mart or a chain vitamin outlet like GNC. You can go to a natural health food store and ask a knowledgeable clerk for recommendations if you want results.
One of the best ways to promote a diet is to tell everyone the success that you are having. Don't wait until you have results. Just say it. Never talk talk to yourself about any negative self image you may have, or even your fear of failure, but talk about the success you are experiencing and/or hope to find. Bottom line: If you can BELIEVE IT, you can ACHIEVE IT!
You should determine how much weight you need to loose in order to be in optimal health. Then with a child of proportionate weight in your arms, walk for five minues. If you can't find a child, fill up a gym bag with books until it weighs the same amount that you want to lose. When you finally put it down, it will be a great relief, so just imagine how amazing it will feel to lose that much of yourself!

It's a mistake to confuse appetite with hunger. Hunger is defined as "The body's call for nourishment." In other words, when the body needs energy, that's when you feel true on hunger. By that definition, it is impossible to "be hungry" if you are overweight.

However, it is possible for you to have feelings that you interpret as "hunger." And the stomach contracting in expectation of being fed causes those feelings.

When you were a child and you became cranky, your mother would put a nipple into your mouth to calm you down. You would get distracted, become peaceful, and often fall asleep. That scenario was repeated thousands of times so that your unconscious mind was programmed: When something goes into your mouth, you get relaxation and pleasure from it.

Now that you are fully grown, if you feel nervous or tense, you crave something in your mouth for relaxation and pleasure - food!

People Also Get Cravings and Urges Because Of Conditioning.

When you pair eating with any other activity, the other activity will trigger cravings for food and a feeling of urgency to eat. This is called a conditioned response. For example: If you eat when you watch a movie, you will automatically get an urge to eat each time you go to the movies.

What About Compulsive Overeaters Who Eat Because Of Emotional Reasons?

A compulsion is defined as an "irresistible impulse." One of the presuppositions of NLP is: There is a positive intention behind all behaviors. In other words, our unconscious mind only motivates behaviors that benefit or protect us in some way. In NLP terms, we say that being fat is a behavior when it provides a positive outcome or intention.

You may be wondering what the possible positive outcomes of being fat just might be. The list of possibilities is as long as the list of people who are fat. But I'll give you a classic example: A person gets their heart broken in a relationship. So to protect the self from getting the heart broken again, the unconscious motivates the self to gain weight to keep the self out of relationships and prevent another broken heart.

A big secret to eliminating your appetite and losing your weight is called reframing. With an NLP six-step Reframe, we respect the fact that the mind is pushing us to consume food for relaxation and pleasure. And if we are eating compulsively because being fat is protecting us, we respect that also.

In a Neuro-Linguistic Programming six-step reframe, we negotiate with our subconscious mind. In the case of eating for relaxation and pleasure, we ask our subconscious to assume the responsibility for making us automatically substitute some alternate behaviors. The alternate behaviors must be as effective and available at providing the same relaxation and pleasure. But they must also be more consciously acceptable to us. When the unconscious is motivating us into alternate behaviors that provide the relaxation and pleasure that we require - we lose our appetite on this score.

If you are an emotional eater, we do an additional reframe. We ask your subconscious to assume the responsibility for finding and substituting new behaviors in place of being fat. These new behaviors must be as effective and available at providing the same benefits. But they must be actions that are more consciously acceptable to you. When your subconscious is motivating you into alternate behaviors that provide the same outcomes that you require, you lose the compulsion to overeat.

As far as feeling cravings because of conditioning (conditioned responses), we utilize various hypnotic and NLP techniques that erase or "extinguish" those conditioned responses. That breaks the connection between the behaviors, and eliminates the cravings and urges.

When your appetite has been eliminated, and any compulsion to overeat has been overcome, you can stick to any diet of your choosing indefinitely so that it becomes a permanent lifestyle change.
