Make it a point over the next few weeks to send a hand written thank you note to every person you meet with regardless of whether you make the sale or not. Just a few lines that say "Thank you for spending time with me. I appreciated the opportunity to learn a little more about what you are trying to achieve. I'm sorry I can't be of any help right now, but please call me if I can help in anyway in the future."

For your clients, find some small but meaningful gift that shows them you appreciate them. Every one needs to feel appreciated.
