[F89]Fast Fat Loss Diets
by Christine G. Shannon, Chr
Reasons to lose weight vary with each individual. The one thing they have in common is they want quick and easy fat loss diets. It's not always easy trying to lose weight, whatever your reason may be. When you are on a restrictive diet and it does not work or give any long-term results, it can be discouraging. It can be difficult to find a fat burning diet that will give you results.
You have to be patient when you are on a weight loss diet; it is going to take time to burn fat and calories. You have to learn how to eat the right foods and when to eat them to keep your metabolism going. You also want a diet that will make you feel more energetic, and not worn out and deprived, while you are dieting. Some types of diet secrets involve starving yourself and this never works on a long-term basis, as your metabolism will adjust.
The best fat loss diet is one which is simple to understand and easy to stick to. This is very important if you want a great diet program which will suit you and your lifestyle. If you choose a diet where this does not apply, you will probably find it tiresome and boring and give up altogether after a short time. If you find a diet which seems good but gives no results, this can be very disappointing and makes weight loss seem like an impossible dream rather than something attainable.
Many of the pre-packaged diet programs can be boring, expensive and not seem satisfying. It is better to eat regular everyday foods, in the right portions when on a diet, since it will make it easier to become a habit and lifestyle.
Many people fail at low carbohydrate diets because they are much too strict and your body does require a certain amount of carbohydrates to be healthy. You can regain the weight once you start eating carbohydrates like before the diet.
Not only are low fat items too expensive to continue in their use on a long-term basis, many have a higher calorie content. Sometimes, just because it says it is low fat doesn't mean it is low calorie. Many people fool themselves with this diet. In fact, many of the items don't even really taste good and are expensive. They can actually make you want to eat something else more nutritious and better tasting.
To lose weight you need a diet that you can fit into your lifestyle with your own favorite choices of foods, so you will enjoy being on the diet. Things you keep on hand all the time, or buy often at the store, that you like to eat.
If you have tried easy fat loss diets and have not been satisfied with the results, you should try out another diet. If you want an easy diet program to lose weight, Fat Loss 4 Idiots at the link below might be just what you are looking for.

If you are overweight there may be a very good reason for it. If you have lived a no exercise lifestyle for a long time ? years, or even decades it is highly likely that you have become under muscled. This means that your body fat percentage is high compared to your lean body weight (muscle tissue).

So, your being overweight is simply a body composition problem. The proper way to check this would be to go to your local gym or fitness center and ask them to perform a body composition test for you. But this is not necessary as simply being overweight means that this ratio is out of balance.

If you decide to go on a diet this would be possibly the very worst thing you could do as it will conspire to make the problem worse. Although the bathroom scales may show that you may have lost some weight initially it will be mainly fluid, muscle tissue and a little body fat. It may seem like the diet is working but it is really compounding the problem.

You see, by being overweight it means your metabolism has already slowed down because of the lack of muscle toning and building exercise that you haven't been doing. This means that your metabolic engine has become smaller causing your body to store fat instead of burning it.

When you go on a restricted food diet what happens is that the body will shed some muscle tissue as it goes into "survival mode" as it perceives the food restriction as a famine situation. It will hang on to every shed of fat as part as it's survival strategy and as the muscle tissue is not being used it will dump that first.

Shedding muscle tissue is the exact opposite of what you need to happen as this will further slow down your metabolic engine and it will end up burning less and less calories. You are in fact working against your body and this will never ever work as our genes are hardwired for survival and your body will force your appetite regulator up and up until you are unable to resist the powerful urges to eat.

Forget all that deprivation and denial and consider the alternative ? more food, more proper exercise, more energy, more strength, more health and a saner and better approach. It is so simple ? get started on a proper exercise program that contains at least 60% strength training exercise. Recover and build back your lost muscle tissue and get your metabolic engine back up to speed.

Forget the "just go for a walk" business this will never ever work to rebuild your body. After all we all have legs and we all walk and this is not a proper exercise program regardless of who says it is. This is half the problem - people have been spouting about low intensity activity for years like walking, jogging, cycling etc as being all that is needed for strength and fitness.

Meanwhile people's strength has disappeared out the door and has being replaced with an epidemic of excess body fat. This has been incredibly misleading and has cost many people their health.

The only effective way of losing this excess body fat is to look at three main areas. Firstly your strength training program, seek help from a fitness professional to set this up so you can learn proper exercise technique. You also need your program changed every 6-8 weeks so you keep making progress.

Secondly one or two interval training sessions should be done each week. This is short bursts of activity alternated with longer rest periods. For example 10 seconds of all out sprinting then 30 seconds to one minute of walking, repeated 10 or more times. This is hard work but will have you burning fuel (calories) like a sports car.

Eat 5-6 small meals with 20-30 grams of protein at each one. Add lots of raw and cooked vegetables and eat one of these meals every 2-3 hours throughout the day. Don't leave home without your meals with you for the time you are going to be away. It really is this simple. Focus on what you should be eating not what you shouldn't be eating.

Forget about losing weight, and start thinking about recovering your fat burning, muscle system. If you are under muscled and over fat this is the real way to get the body composition you need to look your very best? so get busy today.
