He had successfully manufactured jeans for Gap, Abercrombie, and Ralph Lauren etc. Together they created vintage looking jeans which had the freshness and the attitude of modern jeans.

Even the final pumice stone washing process was first pioneered by KU. This is what gives the jeans a soft feel with a rugged look.
