There are more raucous resorts nearby at a lower level, making the Caribbean Jewel Beach Resort almost a haven of peace by comparison. If you want the party atmosphere then you don't have to go far to find it.

This may be because it lacks the glitz and glamour of the all inclusives, or the sports facilities of other hotels. What it does have apart from affordability, is the fact that is just a lovely place to be. The staff are very attentive, the views are amazing, it is so peaceful, and relaxed. Yes the restaurant may disappoint slightly, and the fact that it is on a hill overlooking the bay means a long climb back, but these are just small niggles, which don't come close to spoiling an affordable family vacation at the very nice, almost boutique resort of Caribbean Jewel Beach.
