[M295]Mary J Blige Grown Women
by Jim Brown, Jim
As women get older, there are many who are afraid of aging and they exert every effort to keep themselves looking young to keep you guessing their age. Trying to keep yourself young and healthy is totally a great thing to do but sometimes certain women go to the extent of making themselves look fashionably ridiculous most especially when it comes to apparel.

Many fashion stylists have said time and again that it is perfectly fine to dress younger than your age or to keep up with the latest trends and designs so long as the style works for you. There are many women who are in their 40s and even 50s but still manage to look years younger. However, this does not work for everybody. Many grown women all over the world commit these common fashion sins time and again. Here is a look at some of them and a few guidelines on what suits your age.

Many grown women love to wear overalls. Overalls don't flatter your figure at all. Overalls are best left to be used when you work at a farm.

Other grown women wear pigtails in an attempt to take years off their face and to appear girly. Pigtails work for young children and for teenagers but they don't look good on grown women. A simple ponytail though works with most women irregardless of their age and is more flattering.

When it comes to wearing socks, wearing knee socks are perfectly fine so long as you hide them underneath your pair of pants. While teenagers look adorably cute and sexy when they pair of short skirts with a great looking pair of knee socks, grown women look downright ridiculous and utterly terrible when they attempt to wear such an outfit. Grown women should stick to hosiery or sheer tights and stockings. How about showing off your smooth legs or a better yet your faux tanned legs.

Tie dyes are best worn at home and not for going out. Tie dyes don't go well with older women and are better left to be worn by the hippies or the skater folk.

When it comes to make-up wearing dark make-up can actually make you look mature. Mature women should go for lighter shades and colors that'll brighten up their faces and take years off their age. Earth tones in copper or shades of brown as well as other neutral hues would go well with many looks and outfits.
