When a man has settled his mind on something, he equals any ambitious woman - won't give up until he achieves his goal and is determined to do anything...to promise whatever you want to hear.
It is obvious that they have the same interests as women, be with women only for sex or material possessions, job promotion, etc.
Is it for love or for the money?
You have moments when you ask yourself what is holding him. It's true you are well-provided and he has the wish for such a position.
If he is with you only for the money, the signs are obvious: he tells you he loves you only from time to time and only when you insist to hear it, he does not ask you for money in a direct way, but he always tells you he needs something but he does not have the money for it (subtle enough), suggests you need to change the car (to one he likes more - especially when he frequently drives it), he insists on going shopping (because he knows you will buy a present for him) etc. He also complains he is not well dressed, compared to you, he makes you feel guilty to buy him new outfits, later he will ask you to lend him money till he gets his paycheck and he forgets to pay back.
He only wants sex
You are gorgeous, you have a great body and he is the type to ''show his assets'', but unluckily for you, he calls only for a quick sex meeting, he takes you out only once in a while and then he wants you to look hot (so that his mates see you) but you will not get ''I love you'' except when persistently asking for it. For him everything is about sex and when you meet, you only stay in bed, because he (poor guy) is exhausted and needs to relax.
Professional promotion
He is young, handsome and ambitious and involved with his woman-employer that is you. He doesn't want you to be seen because this is not ''proper'' (he does not want the other employers to know why he gets promotions and salary bonuses) and he tells you constantly how much he can help you as co-worker. He suggests in a subtle way that he needs a raise and asks about promotions, when, based on what...etc
So, nowadays it is necessary to be vigilant and not trust anybody until this person is worthy of your attention.
