As kids we had “do-overs" and even adult golfers get “Mulligans" - but is there really another chance to make a marriage proposal right? Well, I am not sure, but my estimation is that there probably is not. Why? A simple explanation is that you never have another chance to make a first impression and this is the first impression that you are making in the progression of the relationship to a serious, life-long commitment. That is a pretty hefty load and it is no wonder that an astounding number of guys fumble at this moment. A recent survey showed that 80% of women were not completely satisfied with the marriage proposal that they received and you align that with the 50% of divorces in the U.S. and we have a problem. Now, are we saying that if you trip up on the proposal that you are destined to become divorced - no. There are a number of factors that come into play with that process. What we are letting you know is that if you trip up you are not helping things. So, how are you to avoid a situation that you may later regret from it not going well? First step - make a plan (preferably a T.I.P. one)! The time and effort put into the plan will have a tremendous result on the outcome. Even if you have thoughts of a very small and quaint proposal, you should still take the time to plan the setting, placement of props (and ring), and even rehearse your words in the mirror. The saying that “practice makes perfect" applies also to the proposal. With practice, you will become more comfortable with the words, your actions, and “how" you will go through the motions. This will lead to both physical and psychological improvements in the proposal. Physically, you will appear more confident and assertive with the proposal and your verbal and non-verbal language will project positively on your mate. This positive projection will give your mate a psychological boost in knowing that you are serious about moving forward and that you are convinced that you two can make the relationship work.If you plan and practice, you have a much better chance of having a first rate proposal that you and your mate will be pleased with. You can make exactly the type of impression that you want to begin your future lives together. Though you may try to do it again, you can never erase a poor marriage proposal. Your actions preceding the proposal, if done correctly, will make your's one that will never want to be erased!
With all the attention being given to sexual health, especially as the baby boomers enter their "golden years," lots of attention and hype is also being given to natural remedies. The clamor includes natural remedies for everything from athlete's foot to cancer. Not surprisingly, erectile dysfunction (ED) is being included in the trend. On the Internet and everywhere else, extravagant claims are being made for "natural medicines" that treat ED, supposedly without the side effects that can be associated with some prescription medications. For lots of men, this sounds like a great idea: a solution for erectile dysfunction that's relatively inexpensive, natural, and without the risk of side effects. What's not to like - right?
Cautions about Natural ED Medicines
Well, to quote George Gershwin, "it ain't necessarily so." The biggest problem with so-called natural ED medicines is that their manufacture and distribution is largely unregulated. In other words, consumers who use natural substances, either as medications or "dietary supplements," have no assurance of the quality, purity, or relative quantity of the "active ingredient" present in the substance they are ingesting. While it may be true that certain natural compounds can have beneficial effects for many medical conditions, including ED, "natural medicines" must be carefully scrutinized to be certain that they are what they claim to be. And the FDA isn't going to do it for you. If you are firmly committed to using natural medicines for ED or anything else, you should consult with your physician. You should also locate a reputable supplier who can be held accountable for the quality and purity of products offered for sale.
Studies
Some medical and clinical trials of certain "natural ED medicines" have revealed that up to 90% of the substances have no verifiable curative properties. In other words, they don't do what their boosters claim they do. Also, less than 10% of these so-called natural cures contain any sort of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor ("PDE5 inhibitors"), a chemical that has been shown to effectively aid men with erectile dysfunction by promoting better blood flow in the vessels of the penis. That means that relying on "folk cures" or other so-called natural ED medicines can mean relying on something other than proven science.
"Let the Buyer Beware"
The bottom line: be careful, do lots of research, ask lots of questions, and consult your doctor before you begin using natural ED medicines. Know what you're taking, know exactly how much you're supposed to take, and know how it's supposed to work.
