The marketing strategies that are carried out during the Christmas season are one of the most important things that any marketing manager or advertising agency can utilise for their clients. Business owners are aware of this fact and as a consequence, they react, seeking to have the right form of advertising to include in their purchases.
During this holiday season business cards are used to pass along information to customers as they make purchases in stores – both online and bricks-and-mortar.
A Christmas holiday season is a heavy economical spill season; people maximise their credit card debt and use most of their monthly income for the purchase of Christmas paraphernalia. Buying gifts, decorations, food and other components of the social interaction called Christmas takes the highest financial percentage in any household; as a result, customers will seek the best alternative to buying these items.
Only the best retail stores and businesses will be granted a massive purchase; however, the awards for the best stores (those who offer discounts, additional gifts and other enhancements for purchasing customers) will be kept in the memory of the customers. This is why business cards during the Christmas season are of the utmost importance; any business or retail store believe that it is the best one in their field, whether they are selling toys, clothes, cooking supplies, or any other type of merchandise.
Even though most customers make their business transactions in the same stores every time and do not venture into new stores or businesses during the holiday season, sometimes they do if they happen to see a new store that accommodates their needs, or that provides them with new benefits. They will then seek to include this new store in their regular product-purchasing stores.
It does not matter whether the customers are willing to take that extra step and make a note of the benefits that the new store will provide them; since it is not one of their regular stores, the chances of them forgetting about it as time passes by increases. To prevent this, and to prevent losing potential customers, businesses offer them business cards.
During the rest of the year, business cards usually are printed on white cardboard paper with the information of the business and the details of a particular person that is the one giving out the card. As such, these cards are fairly plain and simple; however, during the Christmas season, the intention of Christmas business cards is to make them attractive enough for customers to keep. In terms of printing and cost, business cards are less expensive than Christmas corporate or business cards, however, it will depend greatly on what the business wants as a design.
Christmas cards come in pre-set designs in which small printing workshops print the personalised message that the business or store wants; Business Cards have to be created from scratch, so, according to the type and form of the business card design, it might be that a Christmas business card is more expensive than a Christmas card.
