The underside of the bridge that crosses over Town Lake is one of the largest compilations of Bats in the United States. These creatures hang from the bottom of the bridge during the daylight hours, as is the nature of the bats, and come out when the sun begins to sink below the horizon. These tours will take you out as the sun begins to set, offering you unparalleled views of these somewhat creepy but enticing creatures.

Town Lake offers numerous other water opportunities. There is water skiing, boating, kayaking, rafting, and even the occasional diving. A week on the shores of Town Lake is comparable to any other major aquatic vacation adventure. The only major difference is that a trip to Town Lake will cost you several hundred dollars less!
