One of the most powerful tools at your disposal when working with the Law of Attraction is a vision board with your desires that you can set as the background on your computer screen or print it out and hang on your wall. The reason for this is simple - any subconscious reminder of your intent that you see day after day will further reinforce your intent to the universe. Let me share with you exactly what is a manifestation vision board and how you could make one.
The simplest way to go about this is to use a vision board software. There are some good and affordable ones around that you could use. A vision board software will allow you to change the background and the pictures more readily than a physical poster board!
For pictures, you could source from some old magazines or newspapers you have lying around. You want to choose pictures that represent what it is that you wish to attract. For instance, if you want a red convertible, find a picture of exactly that and cut it out. Make sure your pictures are as close to what you want as possible, as this will really affect the outcome. Magazines, newspapers, and your own real photos are all great sources for pictures and ideas.
Once you have collected all of the pictures you intend to use, take a snapshot of each and download them into your computer. Open up the vision board software and start "pasting" your photos onto the vision board. Give a caption to each photo that signifies your intention. For example, if you want a new house and you paste a picture of a new house that you want, create a caption that reads, "My New House" underneath the picture in a nice black font. How you put them together is up to you - straight? Angled? Collage-style? It doesn't matter, just so long as your intents are represented in the pictures on your vision board.
Once your vision board is complete, set it as the background picture in your computer. Print it out. Be sure to mount it in a place where you will see it often. Perhaps on a bedroom wall, in your study room, the dining hall, on the back of your bathroom door - anywhere you will see the picture daily. When you think about it, stop and examine your vision board/poster and think about your intents - be sure to feel excited about what you have coming to you. However, even if you forget and never look at the vision board/poster again, as you pass it each day, it will register subconsciously in your mind. Our subconscious mind is very powerful - manifestation happens easiest when the subconscious is on board rather than fighting. A vision board/poster is an excellent way of bypassing your subconscious resistance.
Most of all, when you see your vision board/poster you should feel happy and excited about the things that you are manifesting. This is probably the most important part of your vision board/poster - if it stirs up excitement in you, it will help you to manifest your desires so much the quicker. If you combine this practice with a daily routine of visualization, you will find yourself manifesting far more quickly than you even thought possible!
Weight loss goals are important. Your dreams of wearing a particular size or seeing a specific number on the scale are also important. Are these weight loss goals and dreams someplace that you can see them? Do you have a visual reminder of what you want? Take it out of your head and create a weight loss vision board.
A weight loss vision board is a great tool to consider a work in progress as you lose weight, get closer to your goal, change habits, experience successes along the way, or even photographs. You can put photos of you, pictures from magazines of a body that you'd like to achieve, meaningful words or pictures from magazines that inspire or motivate you. If something is of significant importance or meaning to you, it will keep you focused. It will be a reminder of your weight loss goals and can be included on the board.
Have a photo taken of you once a month. As you lose weight, place the photos reflecting your progress of a smaller body size. Another tip is to wear the same clothes each month for the photo. Again, as you lose weight, you'll see the clothes becoming loose and then baggy. This is another great way to keep motivated by seeing how far you've come.
Include a photograph of you at a smaller body size. Cut out a photo with a body size you'd like as your own goal. Place your face on that body for a very motivating visual.
If you want to exercise more aerobically or resistance training, cut out photographs that motivate you. They can be of someone with a toned body, someone exercising, hiking, walking or running, or any other photographs inspiring to you.
Make a graph of your starting weight and keep track of your progress. Show your goal weight as well so you see yourself moving closer and closer to it on your graph.
I have a client that has created her weight loss vision board. She hung it in her kitchen which has been a very effective way to stay on track. At times that she's been tempted or even headed to the kitchen, she sees her weight loss vision board front and center. It has saved her from many extra calories and pounds, and kept her motivation and confidence high that she will achieve her weight loss goal.
Make a visual reminder of motivation and inspiration by creating your own weight loss vision board. Create a visual center that updates and changes often as you lose weight. Have fun with it as you create it and update it to reflect your personal change and weight loss. Be creative; think big, think out of the box in whatever you place on your weight loss vision board. When it comes to any goals and success, see it to believe it. When you see it - you can be it!
