The fact is that this is the perfect time to write an Ebook. The publishing world both on and offline relies upon the "fresh" blood coming through with their fresh and unique ideas on how to do things. Finding new and innovative ways of solving old and new problems is a fantastic market where people are more than willing to find a solution to what matters to them.
One thing we all have in common is life experiences wether it be good or bad it is still an experience. Out of every experience there is usually a lesson to be learnt, this is the kind of information people crave especially when they find themselves in the same position.
Let's say you already have a brilliant idea, and the knowledge to back it up that will enable you to write an exceptional ebook. You may be sitting at your computer staring at a blank screen wondering, "Why? Why should I go through all the trouble of writing my ebook when it's so impossible to get anything published these days? Who is going to buy it indeed who is going to be interested in my ebook?
Well, let me assure you that publishing an ebook is entirely different than publishing a book in print. There are huge differences so firstly lets take a look at some of those differences and tell you why you should be scrambling to produce your first ebook as quickly as possible.
Submitting a print book to conventional publishing houses or to agents can be an absolute minefield. No matter how good your book actually is, or how many critique services and mentor writers have told you that "you've got what it takes," your submitted manuscript keeps coming back to you as if it isn't worth the paper it is written on but you know in your heart it is crammed full of valuable information.
Perhaps, in desperation, you've checked out self-publishing and found out just how expensive a venture it can be. Most "vanity presses" require minimal print runs of at least 500 copies, and even that amount will cost you thousands of dollars. Some presses' minimal run starts at 1,000 to 2,000 copies. And that's just for the printing and binding. Add in distribution, shipping, and promotional costs and - well, you do the math. Even if you wanted to go this route, you may not have that kind of money to risk. And why would you risk it, you would be mad to in my opinion being an author in the "real" world is a much different prospect to being an online author. Even if you did go down this route how would you then get the book into bookshops for sale? How would you market it? Before you know it you have spent thousands and thousands of dollars without any guarantees that you will ever sell 1 copy.
Let's say you already have an Internet business with a quality website and a quality product. An ebook is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business while educating people with the knowledge you already possess as the owner of a quality website and product.
For example, let's say that you've spent the last 10 years creating and selling hand-made cards, and now you're ready to share your knowledge and experience. An ebook is the perfect way to reach the largest audience of hand-made card enthusiasts. Making hand-made cards along with many other "hobby" type activities is a skill, where theres a skill there is always people that want to learn, want to know more about particular aspects. These people are all potential paying customers.
Ebooks will not only promote your business - they will help you make a name for yourself and your website, and establish you as an expert in your field. You may even find that you have enough to say to be able to write and produce a series of ebooks. Specific businesses are complicated and often require the different aspects to be divided in order for the reader to get the full story. The more quality information the better.
One of the main reasons people read ebooks is to find information about how to turn their Internet businesses into a money making machine. These people are looking to the writers of ebooks to show them new ideas and concepts. Writers of ebooks are usually people who understand the new cyberspace world we now live in. Ebook writers end up being experts in Internet marketing campaigns and the strategies of promoting and selling ebooks.
You may want to create affiliate programs that will also market your ebook. Affiliates can be people or businesses worldwide that will all be working to sell your ebooks. Think about this? Do you see a formula for success here? You sell your ebook on your own you may sell for example 20 copies a day. You enlist an army of affiliates and give them 50% commission for each ebook they sell and they may sell 10 copies a day each. If you have 5 affiliates thats an extra 10 copies a day plus your own 20 copies. What if you have 20 affiliates or 50 well I will let you do the maths needless to say affiliates are a great commodity and one we should all respect and look out for.
Figure out what your subject matter is, and then narrow it down. Your goal is to aim for specificity. Research what's out there already, and try to find a void that your ebook might fill. Keep at the forefront of your mind that people will always pay for a proven solution to their specific problem if you can find this magic formula then success is almost guaranteed.
What about an ebook about a birthday cake business? Or an ebook about caring for a sick pet? How about the fine points of collecting toy cars? There is a target audience for everything that is my point, even for the example I have just given there are people out there that will pay to read your woes.
You don't have to have the best degree like education to write about your subject. People need advice that is easy to read and easy to understand. Parents need advice for dealing with their first born. College students need to learn good revision skills. The possibilities are truly endless.
After You Have Written Your Ebook
Getting your ebook out is going to be your focus once you've finished writing it, just as it is with print books. People will hesitate to buy any book from an author they've never heard of. Wouldn't you? So how do you get people to read it? How do you get it out there?
The answer is simple give it away!
AdSense is an ad serving program that is offered by Google, which website owners can utilize to promote in their websites. This can be done by owners creating their own text, image or video advertisements, which are administered by Google. Revenue generation is achieved through a per click mode or through per-thousand impressions.
Are there some AdSense secrets?
So, are there really any secrets to the working of AdSense that can be exploited by users? Well, the answer in this case is a strict no. There are absolutely no secrets to the methodology at least any that I have heard of. The point is that until and unless you follow all the rules and regulations, you might not be able to have any success in your endeavor.
However there are some secrets, with regards to the way you can configure your Ads. More than a secret these are just ways and means one can utilize to optimize the efficacy of these ads.
The Blending of Ads
The first thing that you must do is see to it that the color of the background page is the same as the color used for the background of the advertisements and its borders. Moreover, the Advertisement title of your AdSense Ad, the text and its URL link must all have the same colors that have been used in the pages. Also, if you want to make better use of AdSense secrets, then the trick would be using the same font size on the page and the AdSense Ads.
Place your Ads High
Those Ads with a high CTR must be placed as high as possible on the pages. The best location of the Ad with the highest CTR would be just below the body tag. It's always seen that the Ad that is placed first generates the most amount of income. These AdSense secrets might just work wonders for you.
Use of Images
Images should look like a part of the page and as such must blend in. This is why you can either place your image to the right of the Ad or to their left. If this is done, then there will be an increase in the CTR. If possible, plain generic images must be used and efforts must be made to arrive at a co-relation between the images and the website.
Avoid the use of arrow or similar images because they might look like click incentives.
Non Standard Ads
The use of Non standard types of Ads will definitely go a long way in increasing your CTR. This is one of the important AdSense secrets. Go for either boxed Ads or those with a vertical skyscraper like shape. It is seen that such ads have a click rate that is higher than those for 468x80 banners.
Also go through the listing provided by the AdSense team about the ad sizes that perform the best. All in all, AdSense Secrets are all about how best you can use the Ads and use their shapes, size, font, placement and color to your advantage.
