[F855]Free Website And Blog
by Adam Spiel, Ada
I started tweaking my Wordpress layout, adding a few pages about me with my pictures—and I just started writing about me and my experiences online.

I started linking to other websites and blogs that I liked. I added links to the free resources and tools that I had found.

Then I used the "Rig Hopping" technique that Alex Jeffreys had taught me, and I started going to other people's blogs and commenting on their posts.

I joined in the discussion with what was going on with Internet Marketing—the launches, the new products, the new techniques, the new ideas—what was working and what wasn't.

I was commenting, and every time I commented, I left my name along with a link back to my blog. So that way, if people liked what I was commenting, they would come back to my blog, click on my links, and especially click on my links to buy my products.

With the Web 2.0 and social networking, there are a TON of places online where you can go to share your links with other people and tell the world about your website!

I started going out and joining the discussion, not spamming - actually engaging with other people.

I joined forum—you can google a list of different market-specific forums. I was meeting people and learning tips and tricks from other people in the forums.

I was giving my advice to other people too—going out to help other people first, showing them what I had learned—what worked for me and what didn't work for me.

And again, every time I commented, I left my link back to my website so that if people liked what I was writing, they would come back and check out what I had to offer.

These are the small things that you can do right now to start building momentum in your online business. Always remember to add value, give your knowledge and expertise away through your blog, free videos, even answering personal e-mail will go a long way to help people out around you. You are engaging with the market and getting to know your market better, and you are becoming a part of the conversation online.

Want to make your website or blog fun to view? Some of the best ways to bring traffic to your web site are downright fun - both for you and for your customers. Contests, fun galleries, cartoons, daily jokes and quotes bring surfers back to your site and encourage them to refer your web site to others that they know. And here's a handful of fun, sticky additions to make your website or blog fun to view.

E-cards Greetings are a great way to bring fun to your website. Offering a selection of funny e-cards for free on your web site increases your website or blog traffic in two ways. First, a good selection of e-cards - particularly those that fit a 'niche' - will bring people back every time they want to send a card. Second, the recipient will have to visit your web site to pick up their e-greeting, which gives you a chance to solicit their business as well.

To really get feel the full fun of the web site, create (or have someone create) some fun flash photo galleries on your website. There are many flash photo gallery products in the market. Personally, I've worked with Wondershare Flash Slideshow Builder (http://www.photo-to-dvd.com/flash-slide-show.html) and Flash Album Studio for a long time and I can say that they are among the most user friendly products around. Quickly and easily add the animated Story Album to your website or blog just by copying and pasting a little code that they generate for you. You'll love the different themes for displaying your albums with style!

Other ideas for making website fun with a daily joke, cartoon, saying or tip - and share it via RSS feed. People love things that make them laugh, inspire them or make them think. Offer a daily inspirational quote, a helpful tip or a daily cartoon on your web site - and set it up for distribution via an RSS feed so that others will link to it as well.

As you can see, there are many fun-filled projects you can create for your website or blog. Take note of some of these ideas the next time you're cracking your brains and thinking about how to bring more fun to your website.
