A six-pack without situps, sounds almost too good to be true but as a competing natural bodybuilder I can assure you that it's completely possible. In fact, I have prepared for many bodybuilding competitions where I haven't performed a single set up and have regularly been amongst the top place winners.
People are very shocked to learn that they can have six-pack abs without performing even a single sit up. One of the biggest reasons people are amazed and shocked that they can obtain impressive six pack abs without sit ups is that they have tried o do just that. They may have even tied to get six-pack abs with sit ups. Many have completely failed and never thought about the why.
Frustration can make many become cynical about achieving real, killer abs, especially those who are not in their 20's anymore. The truth is that men and women of any age can have a sexy six-pack no matter what their current stomach looks like. I have personally witnessed many people, whom I have assisted with this program, achieve the six-pack they wanted. Even one 62-year-old has made it to the bodybuilding stage, with six-pack abs to show off.
All that really separates most people from an impressive six-pack is simply application of the correct knowledge. Therein lies the two main problems for the person whose desire is to have a chiselled six-pack, the first is getting the correct knowledge and the second is applying that knowledge.
The application of the knowledge is the sole responsibility of the person who acquires it. The hardest thing to do is to take action for some people. Those who don't take the action as soon as the knowledge is acquired usually lack motivation. In my eBook "Six-Pack Abs Without Sit-ups" I teach people not just the knowledge on how to achieve six-pack abs, but also the knowledge on how to overcome what is holding them back and how to generate motivation.
The most important part of success is the acquisition of knowledge. Let me tell you as a competing natural bodybuilder that there is only one method for gaining six-pack abs. I have heard or tried them all. I have even seen so-called miracle potions, lotions, pills, and wacky diets. Nothing like that will ever live up to its promise.
If you truly want a gorgeous set of six-pack abs that you can be proud to own, then you need to be in possession of the correct knowledge that will get you there. You need to hear it straight from someone who has tested it themselves and used it to be a top contender in bodybuilding competitions. Only a natural body builder is qualified to teach you the correct methods of motivation, diet, and exercise. Anybody else who tells you they can do it just look at all the models on their infomercial that they have paid a pretty penny to endorse their idea or product is dead wrong. Only a true body builder is qualified to share real secrets of killer abs.
The first step to owning a six-pack without situps is maintaining correct diet, long before I show you any exercises in my ebook, "six-pack without Situps", I teach you about the kinds of foods you should be eating to ensure your six-pack success. It's sad because nearly everyone can own a six-pack but they almost always sabotage their chances because they don't have the correct diet knowledge.
Second, by knowing what to eat and employing this first you will already be way ahead of your desired outcome. You will already start seeing results well before you begin the exercise plan. Then, by combining knowledge of how food reacts when inside your body you will understand the big picture. Then by implementing this plan into your current lifestyle, you will then be able to achieve those killer abs with guaranteed success in a lot less time and with better results. You know, if you have ever been told in a gym that success is 80% diet and 20% effort and attitude, they were absolutely right. You will only be successful at gaining impressive abs if you know how to fuel them.
Your third step is critical for the quick results you desire. This step involves working the fat right off of those abs and the rest of your body. This is achieved through the right moves, combined with the right diet, along with a clear cut plan that involved setting achievable goals. To get started simply hire for your self a professional to measure your body fat with calipers or body fat scales, preferably the Tanita brand. Once you know your starting point, then simply set up for yourself a set of weekly percentage goals. Strive to achieve at least 16 ounces of fat loss per week.
Putting these correct exercising into action will help you achieve the proper musculature to make those abs look gorgeous. By combining the proper fast track exercises with the other steps mentioned you will achieve the best six-pack abs possible for your body. My eBook "Six-Pack Abs Without Sit Ups" can explain to you how to perform the exercises that will put you on the fast track without a single sit up involved. These effective exercises are the should and must of the plan to make it work in the quickest way possible with the best possible outcome. By implementing them you can prevent injury that might have occurred if you had performed those dangerous repetitious sit ups in unnecessary amounts.
There are two main steps in the process of developing a firm, flat and defined stomach. These are weight loss and the strengthening of the abdominal muscles.
Weight Loss: It is common belief that abdominal exercises are the most important means of obtaining a six pack; however this is not the case.
Before your abdominal muscles are able to show, you must lose weight. Abdominal muscles will only become visible when a minimal fat to muscle ratio exists in the body. Weight loss is achievable through altering the diet to eliminate excess sources of fat and a variety of weight loss activities and exercise.
In the particular case of developing a six pack, weight loss actually refers to a reduction in the amount of body fat a person has stored. It is essential to reduce the amount of body fat, as fat stores will only serve to cover the abdominal muscles, thus preventing them from being viewed.
Strengthening the abdominal muscles: Once weigh loss has occurred, abdominal muscles must be developed and strengthened through a variety of abdominal muscles strengthening exercises.
In many cases, despite following a strict regimen for diet and exercise, many people are still unable to develop a six pack. This is mainly due to the fact that most people are unable to lower their body fat levels to the fat requirements for a six pack as these requirements are lower than that required to maintain current lifestyle and is lower than the healthy range for the bodily functions of most people.
Many people are also unable to develop a defined stomach due to the genes they have inherited. Our genes play a major role in the way our bodies function and in some cases some people may be genetically predisposed to developing a six pack and flat abdominals easily, whereas many of us are not. Unfortunately, if this is the case, no amount of diet and exercise will see a six pack develop.
In many cases, the process of developing a six pack will often require more exercise than many peoples schedules will allow, will require more attention to be paid to the diet and will require a more strict adherence to diet and exercise than first anticipated. For this reason many people may opt for some simple exercise and diet for weight loss, as opposed to the development of a six pack.
The process of obtaining or trying to obtain the stereotypical perfect flat abs is long and does require a high level of commitment. Before embarking on this quest, it is best to think about your reasons for wanting a defined abdominal region and weather a six pack will change your life for the better.
In many cases, even if a six pack is not possible, weight loss and a better looking and feeling body will be so diet and exercise are definitely beneficial and should not be discarded in the event that a six pack cannot be achieved.
It is important to set realistic goals, as opposed to aiming to high. Begin by aiming for weight loss and muscle toning, and work up from there is necessary.
