Is it really possible to get paid for blogging or writing? It's been a long time I've met up with my friend's father and I've had fond memories of fishing with him when we were still in school, and then sweet memories of hanging out drinking together when we were slightly more legal. Recently, we met up again and he sprung a surprise on me by telling me that he was being paid to blog. Not that it's not possible to be paid writing but for someone his age and his knowledge of technology - it might as well have been.
The point is this. Internet has dramatically changed the world around us so much that many are dependent on them for many of their daily tasks. Paid blogging is just a way of making money using the internet as a vehicle and it's not much different from paid writing jobs. If you're unfamiliar with the word, here's what it essentially means. A company that wishes to maintain or keep active a blog but have no time to update the blog or website with articles or blog entries would hire someone to blog on his or her behalf. This is what paid blogging is all about - the hired writer's job is to go in, research about the industry, find interesting things to write about and then update the blog on a regular basis.
If you look at it singularly, paid blogging is not a lucrative industry. We encourage everyone to take a serious look at the potential of this new age vocation. Practically every individual or company has their own website or blog these days. Companies that maintain their own blogs have one thing and only one thing in mind - to bring in the traffic, connect with users of their products, help find new customers, reach new boundaries...bringing in more sales. Companies take their blogs very serious and therefore would like to have it updated with new information every other day, if not everyday. Limitations relating to skills and number of staff put a damper on their goals and that is where bloggers come in with paid blogging services.
Companies would hire writers who has the initiative, skills, expertise, flexibility and time to spend time to write blog entries and update these blogs. Payment for paid blogging would depend, most of the time, on the number of blog posts they have provided in the week or month. The arrangements vary but the job remains the same. Writing jobs like these have never existed before and it is, indeed, a blessing for those of us who have a penchant for writing.
Paid writing jobs has given many stay-at-home,single or work-at-home mothers new hope. Some disabled or retired persons has turn to writing to earn a decent income from their computer. paid blogging gives them confidence; may people earn a decent income by blogging for many companies. So, how far you want to take the paid writing job depends on the individual. But the potential remains and it is for us to tap into and take it as far and wide as we want to.
So, yes, it is possible to get paid for blogging and writing.

You can start with baby steps ? for example, your lifestyle. If you are in college, you can get paid to blog about solutions to problems other people of your age are facing, as well as personal impressions about the environment in which you are living. You can include a lot of useful information, and you will be amazed at the number of people who will find your tips quite useful.
When you are done with such general things, or if you find it too complicated, you can resort to subjects that are even more specific. Once again, if you want to get paid to write on a regular basis, look for whatever motivates you above all else. Sit down, grab a pen and paper and make a list of all the hobbies and activities you have taken part in over the past few years. If your memory is playing tricks on you, a few minutes? documentation will undoubtedly refresh it. First, chances are there are thousands of others out there who share your interest in that particular pastime. Secondly, every person's perspective is unique, and the insight you are offering is likely to be priceless to somebody else. In this manner, you get paid to blog as well as offer precious assistance.
For example, if you were at some point very into fishing, you can use your blog to include tips and pointers for rookies. Your freedom upon choosing the way in which you tackle the problem is nearly complete. You can pick anything from indicating the best fishing places or times of the day to writing short fictional stories based on fishing experiences. After all, the main purpose is for your writing to generate interest, which is why you get paid to blog.
If you want to get paid to blog, another idea ? which also implies making a list ? concerns the things you watch on TV or about which you read. Make lists of anything ranging from the books you liked best to your favorite actors. As long as you prefer one (or more) of those in particular, you obviously have some knowledge on the subject. All you have to do is to create pertinent, interesting posts and you will get paid to write in no time.
Perspectives to the whole ?get paid to blog? routine are many. Another idea is a ?do-it-yourself? topic blog. This is particularly efficient if you happen to be a handy man. With workloads increasing day by day, as well as soaring numbers of people who barely have time to eat at home, let alone tend to it, DIY courses or even simple notes may be lifesavers. Instead of wasting precious minutes, such people get rid of chores quickly and efficiently ? and you have another example of a great way to get paid to write, as well as to be helpful for your community and not only.
In the end, it is not at all difficult to keep a blog of your own and earn some extra cash in the meantime. If you are a passionate, persevering writer, you may be certain that you will overcome any writing problem.
