So, how should a candidiasis diet look and what can I eat and what can I not eat? You will probably you have to be on the diet for a month or two, before you are totally cured from the candida in your intestines. You will normally be free from your symptoms after a week or even faster, though. In the first couple of days it's common to experience so called die off symptoms, which means that your symptoms will get even worse. This is not anything to worry about and it will disappear after two days or so. It simply means that the cleanse is working and that you are cleaning the candida out. The diet can seem a bit difficult and hard to follow, but there are really a lot you can eat, you just have to set your mind to change things for a while. Decrease your skin's irritation. Many women have skin and vaginal irritation when using scented soaps on their skin or when washing their clothing. For some reason Candida has a tendency to overgrow when skin irritation exists.
Decrease the times you wear tight clothing. Form fitting jeans, thongs and pantyhose don't give your skin and vagina a chance to breathe. With the trapped warmth and moisture the Candida albicans are given extremely favorable growing conditions.
Stop using hot tubs. The heat and moisture makes hot tubs a favored growing place.
Eat more yogurt with live acidophilus. Minimize life stress when possible. Stress changes the environment inside our body which allows the yeast overgrow.
