[G171]Get Rid Of Bathroom Mold
by Gregg Hall, Gre
Riddled with disgusting germs, bathrooms have become the hotbed for illness in the home and the source of these germs just might surprise you. Moreover, the clutter of bathrooms shoots their aesthetic value to pieces and leaves them as one of the most undesirable rooms in the house if the owner chooses to not organize or keep his bathroom content up to date. So consider how you can both rid yourself of the dangers lurking in your bathroom while beefing up its eye appeal in the process.

You're going to need a fairly large trash bag when you go in to organize your bathroom, but in the end, you'll appreciate the cleaner environment.

Start with the medicine cabinet. Ironically, no one should store their medicine in the medicine cabinet. We should really call it the bathroom cabinet. We should store most of our medicines at room temperature, yet we stick them in the bathroom cabinet for easy access despite the fact that this room alone experiences more heat and humidity than any other room in the house. The heat and humidity of daily showers can literally spoil medication.

Additionally, many people neglect to consistently check the expiration date of their medication. Forget about the fact that you might be able to use that penicillin to treat something in the future. If the expiration date has passed, toss it in the trash. So one might ask, where DO we keep our medication. Find a clean, dry place high off the ground, like the hall linen closet. Such a location will keep dangerous medications away from children and will keep the needed medicines dry and unspoiled.

When you clean out your cabinet, clean out your make up kits as well. Most makeup lasts only for 18-24 months, and mascara and liquid eye liner should be kept for no longer than 3 months. Even if you think that powder blue will certainly come back in style, get rid of that eye shadow if you've had it for longer than 24 months. Additionally, nail polish lasts about only a year, so drop that in the trash if it's gone past that expiration date as well. When you purchase makeup, write the date of purchase with a permanent marker on the back of each piece of makeup.

Once you've eliminated the disgusting expired ingredients in your bathroom, head off to the local department store to find the necessary organizational tools. Check out the organization aisle and consider purchasing any one of the many different sized storage bins.

You don't have to live in chaos whenever you step into take a shower. You shouldn't fear the myriad of half full shampoo bottles and used razors hanging in peril on your shower shelves. Just start trashing the unneeded and organizing the needed and you'll be on your way to an organized bathroom.
