[G214]Getting Back A Girlfriend

Remember the days when you could sit down and eat an entire gallon of chocolate ice cream, or a whole pound of bacon at breakfast? That was me thirty-five years ago, but not today without paying the price. For about two and a half decades I could eat anything in site and not put on a drop of weight. What happened?
Life gets in the way, and before you know it you wake up one day and you’re thirty something or forty something, or fifty something, and I think I’ll stop their… You got the picture, time just seems to fly by, and our bodies seem to fly by right along with it.
About the time I decided to set some wishful goals of an amazedly chiseled body, RIGHT, my fat counts were off the charts. So I had to come up with a remedy for the problem, and do it quick, otherwise I might never achieve my goals and expectations.
Every book I read, every person I talked to all pointed me in the same direction, which was to go out and get a gym membership, get plugged into a system and over time results will unfold. Not for me! First of all I hadn’t been inside a gym in say twenty years, give or take a few… All the equipment had changed, the workout structure was more advanced then I remembered, and I felt ill-equipped to manage myself in that setting.
I thought to myself; could it really be as easy as jumping on a cardio machine for a few minutes a day, say 20-30? Would I have to add into that regiment a set or two, or more pumping iron sets. Ok, so I was willing to give it a go and take one day at a time. Ultimately I knew that I had to couple what I was doing in the gym with an extreme fat loss and muscle-building program outside of the gym.
I knew that the average body builder didn’t just get their amazingly sculpted physiques on weight training alone… They were in top form because of how they ate, what they ate, and how often they ate. And more importantly, they did it all naturally, without the use of drugs and supplements. I don’t know about you, but I have read all the reports on steroid use and abuse, and I was not about to get trapped into that situation, and become addicted to any form of enhancements.
So right now it’s all about the action steps we take that can alter our outcome and appearance. You’re either going to deal with your circumstances, or if you’re like me, a take charge personality, you’ll find a way to make and correct the steps necessary to make a difference in your life. After all, it’s one life we get, one short life. We don’t know what’s in store for tomorrow, or today. And yesterday has already come and gone…
