For many, the opportunity of getting a scholarship is the only way they can attend college because of the financial burden going to college can place upon them and family members. There are many costs you have to consider, along with the cost of tuition you also have to consider the cost of books, shelter, travel, food, clothing, and entertainment. Getting a college scholarship based on athletics is only one of many ways which you can get a college scholarship and some scholarships cover many costs that are not directly associated with college tuition and books.

Full Ride Scholarships

The NCAA carefully restricts which sports are eligible to offer full-ride scholarships.
