Forget the old cumbersome maps trying to figure out the directions to your destination while driving down the road is just unsafe. Besides who likes to try to find a place to pull over in the dark to try to read the map with a Nuvi GPS it is a hassle of the past.
Your Nuvi navigational system has a very simple touch screen plus when you turn it on the first thing you hear is (Where To?). Some of the options are view map or you can enter an address. Or maybe you have some saved points of interest (POI) that you discovered and saved for future reference.
Now instead of your wife or husband making a fuss about stopping and asking for directions you can say lets Nuvi instead. All you need to do is pick an intersection or one of your favorites and when it appears you can just touch the (Go), and Garmin Nuvi GPS will navigate you to your destination.
It is preloaded with maps and is ready to go right out of the box. You will wonder how something this jamb-packed with information can not have some kind of monthly subscription. But it does not have one!
It is just so easy to look up addresses for homes or businesses. You can also look up your favorite restaurants and recreation. There are listings for shopping and airports. Do not forget attractions plus you have to have these banks and ATMs. The closest gas station and your favorite hotel is available all across the country.
Just press (Go) and you will be provided voice command directions plus across the top of the screen you will get clear directions. There are no (I think you go) or (maybe a right on) you will get clear accurate directions. Here is a sample (Turn left in 250 Feet) printed across the top of the screen and also a voice command saying the same thing.
Make the car GPS navigational aid uniquely yours by customizing it by adding you very own pictures so when you power on your GPS Nuvi the startup screen will display it. You will like the custom vehicle icons that you can set to your favorite.
