[H690]Hotels In El Centro
by Jeffrey Nelson, Jef
Economists have been predicting a real estate bubble for the last year. These experts suggest that states like California and Arizona where real estate prices have been increasing at record rates are destined for a real estate turn around. They have been predicting that prices would quickly begin to decline.

But if real estate sales in El Centro are any indications, there is no real estate bubble. In fact, sales in El Centro, much like the national real estate sales, have remained stable. Some homes may be on the market for slightly longer than they were a year ago, but there is still a consistent demand for homes.

Why is the real estate market stability so important? Well, a lot of people have been trying to keep their eye on the market to determine whether to buy now, wait and see if the real estate prices begin to fall, or whether they should be concerned about the investment potential of owning a home.

If the prediction of the bubble had been accurate, buyers could have waited for the market to burst. Theoretically, there would have been some great deals on real estate. On the other hand, if the bubble burst had happened, all those people that had purchased homes in the last few years would have lost considerable money. If theyd been forced to sell their home they may not have been able to recoup their original home price, let along make any money off the sale.

Fortunately, the predictions of the bubble seem to be way off base. This is great news for all the buyers that purchased homes in the last year they can stop feeling anxious about their home purchase. But even more important, it gives prospective home buyers important clues in the decision making process.

Because home prices seem to be stable, theres never been a better time to purchase a home in El Centro. The market has been quite stable. Homes arent increasing in value at the frenetic pace they were a few years ago. Instead, you can take the time to find a home you like, without feeling pressured to buy a home that may be unsuitable.

Purchasing real estate in El Centro is a great way to invest your money and save for your future. With a strong market, and no bubbles in sight, you can expect your home to steadily increase in value earning you valuable equity for your future.

We all have busy lives and time flies unbelievably fast. It is easy for some of our routines to get put aside until a later date. That really applies when it comes to keeping our houses shipshape. Not only is it important for out peace-of-mind to have a well-maintained El Centro home, it saves unnecessary expenses later and it keeps the home ready to put on the market or refinance. Here are a few suggestions, but you can certainly create your own schedule:

January: Call your utility companies to schedule an audit. Make sure everything is working well and not costing extra money through wasteful leaks

February: Make sure all your product warranties (appliances, AC, etc.) and manuals are up-to-date. Schedule any necessary maintenance

March: Clean gutters of any debris that may have accumulated during the winter

April: Schedule your inside and outdoor painting projects; changing the trim color can give your home a whole new look

May: Take down window screens; wash them and the windows inside and out

June: Fix or replace any outdoor furniture that needs help, wash and when necessary refinish decks and patios

July: Examine your crawl space for signs of mold or mildew and while you are at it go through the garage and any other storage areas

August: Do a major cleaning of your stove, refrigerator, washer/ dryer and any other appliances

September: Examine all weather stripping for wear, keeping it smooth and snug is as important in warm climates as it is in cold

October: Do a complete inspection of your heating/ AC system. Replace filters, examine pilot light, and vacuum vents and cold air returns

November: Get ready for holiday cooking by thoroughly cleaning kitchen appliances, throwing out outdated food, and organizing cupboards and pantry

December: If you decorate for the winter holidays now is the time to put up lights and other touches. If you do not then take a month off and relax

These are projects that you need to do throughout the year. It is so easy to put things off until they are all staring you in the face. If you make a yearly calendar it will make it easier to stay up-to-date with maintaining your El Centro home. It is good for your house and your own organization. Also, you never know when you may decide to sell your home and upgrade or refinance it for a major project. Another point to note is that should you want a new mortgage, having a shipshape home will give you an extra edge.
