[H286]Herbal Remedies For Bladder
by Alien, Ali
It is practically impossible to distinguish which system or organ in our body is more important. They all play their specific roles in keeping us alive. However we are not satisfied with just being alive. More and more people these days realize how important it is to stay young and healthy as long as possible.

Digestive system unites esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas and gall bladder. Each of these organs play their specific role during digestion and only their balanced work provides normal processing of food. A problem in one organ of digestive system usually leads to infringement of normal functioning in other organs. So, low acidity of gastric juice can cause diarrhea, and belching can be a first sign of future liver problem. All this, once again, confirms a close relationship of all organs in our body.

It is a fact that most diseases, including some very serious ones, start from lower part of digestive system-the intestinal tract.

Such symptoms as heartburn, constipation and fatigue are usually attributed to a hectic lifestyle. In that case making changes in one's lifestyle-quitting bad habits, eating right and being more physically active, can help the symptoms go away by themselves.

However, more often than not they are an indication, or a warning sign, of some kind of problem in our digestive system. Even allergies and certain skin conditions can be a part of this. Unfortunately, every other person suffers from some or other digestive disorder. On this page you will find natural remedies to treat the most common of them.

Clean digestive system brings positive changes and improves a quality of life.

Dealing with diabetes is a challenge for many, as this condition can be a lifelong burden. Millions of people in the United States and around the world are diagnosed with diabetes, most of them as early as school age. However, thanks to the marvels of modern medicine, diabetes has become a manageable condition, with more people learning to improve their lives by dealing with diabetes.

Depending on the type of diabetes, certain kinds of medications are prescribed. Injected or inhaled insulin is commonly recommended for persons with type I diabetes, which is also termed as the insulin-dependent diabetes. Insulin introduced to the body helps compensate for the inability of the pancreas to secrete its own. In this way, glucose in the blood is still metabolized by the cells to produce energy for the body's activities.

For type II diabetes, the situation does not simply require the administration of insulin. This type of diabetes is actually non insulin-dependent, which means the pancreas secretes normal amounts of insulin, but glucose is still not metabolized in cells. This may be due to some receptors on the surfaces of the cells that have become less sensitive to insulin, even when it is present in appropriate amounts.

Since type II diabetes calls for some adjustments to the receptivity of cells for insulin, there are oral medications that act in this manner. There are also type II diabetes drugs that tell the liver to stop or slow down the production of glucose, so the blood doesn't get saturated with the sugar.

But because some forms of medication are expensive, and may have non-serious or serious side effects to a patient, a majority of diabetes patients are turning to complementary and alternative forms of medication. One popular avenue that they venture into is herbal medicine. Bitter melon, also known as Momordica charantia has been clinically proven to help lower sugar levels in the blood. Extracts from this vegetable can be made into teas and drunk regularly. Other known herbs are Asian ginseng, onion and garlic, Pterocarpus marsupium, bilberry, and many others. Most of these herbs are already available in capsule form, which can be taken along with meals.
