When I was working with Aaron Russo in 2006 to help him get the truth out about the IRS and the Federal Reserve I got a little too high on Big Brother's radar. Award winning movie maker Russo was blowing the whistle on the Federal Reserve and the Internal Revenue System in his documentary feature length movie "America - Freedom to Fascism". I held some well attended get togethers with Russo and his supporters here in Los Angeles and participated in some peace rallies with those supporters where we carried signs expressing "Want to End The War In Iraq? Shut Down The Federal Reserve". My rewards for my patriotic efforts included receiving my bank account statement in the mail torn open (after seeing my vapid bank account balance they finally left me alone lol), having my car's windows smashed in and documents in my automobile left in a different disarray than I had left them, being almost run off the road and other highlight reel experiences. When I looked at the car window glass on the pavement I said to myself, "son, you are doing something right but you are doing something wrong". And I did back off a bit to get off the radar. But I now have a very high traffic blog for the freedom movement and the Ron Paul Revolution (which was the brain child of Aaron Russo by the way). There are so many revolutions happening today that one requires a score card to keep track. One of these is one that even the most timid can engage in because it is totally anonymous. And it is anonymous naturally, not because anyone tried to make it anonymous. This is a revolution to fight back against the car industry and the oil industry.
Were you aware... 1. That Exxon raked in $8 billion in profits in 2007 while fuel prices at the pump doubled and tripled. 2. That the price for a barrel of crude was $18 prior to Sept 2001 and we now pay over $100 and this is soaring 3. That a car in 1908 did 40% better on fuel mileage than a automobile in 2008 4. That the average automobile only properly uses 20% of the fuel that you put into the engine which is why you have a catalytic converter... to pass the unburnt, unused fuel as emissions 5. That if a gallon of fuel costs $3.30, 10% of that is inflation (figure thirty cents) and about .47 cents goes to taxation of some kind. So about 25% of what we spend on fuel goes to the government.
As with any bad situation in society, if individuals join forces and take action they can bring about change. As regards fuel prices the best solution is to drop out altogether. No, I don't mean to walk and ride your bicycle to work like they do in Japan. I am saying that you can convert your fuel engine to hydrogen and never need to pump another gallon of fuel again. Even if you only convert to a hybrid you will be saving up to 35% on fuel consumption, maybe more. So unless Big Brother puts nazi inspectors in charge of surveillance under your car's hood, this would be a inherently anonymous activity and an effective revolution! Also you will be enabling your vehicle to function better, and you will be helping the environment to be cleaner and healthier for all of us to live in and you will experience the reward of knowing that you are part of a revolution against the car manufacturers and oil companies and you can say that with regards to the price of fuel ... "we ain't buyin' it anymore"
