Preparing a home treatment for acne is quite easy and can even be fun. Making facial masks, a paste or a facial wash using the ingredients that are commonly found inside your home can provide you with a pimple cure and can even be a relaxing way to pass your time. No need to drive through traffic and spend hours in a dermatology clinic waiting room. All you need is a few minutes and a handful of simple ingredients.

Preparing home treatment for acne can be as easy as mixing water with salt. This concoction can be used as a facial wash. Using it on your face every night will help minimize the oil produced by your glands and help prevent pimple breakouts. It is also a proven way to get a thoroughly clean skin.

Do you love the smell of lemon? It does not only sooth your senses; it can also be used to fight zits! Dab lemon juice on your pimples or mix it with water to use as a facial wash. If you prefer another way, use the skin to massage your face and leave it on for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with warm water. There are just so many ways you can use lemon to fight off pimples.

If you love baking, chances are, you have corn flour and egg in your kitchen. You can mix them in a bowl to create a paste that you can apply to your face. Leave the paste on for an hour before you clean your face with fresh water. This can be done every night to make your skin smoother, more supple and pimple-free.

You might not like the smell, but garlic is quite effective in treating acne. Just dab a few cloves of garlic on the affected areas and leave it on for a half hour. Wash your face with clean water after. You can do this twice a day and you'll see an immediate effect. Garlic is effective in reducing pimple swelling and eliminating other forms of skin irritation.

If you prefer your cure to be very basic or you need an overnight solution, just use ice on your pimples. A cube of ice held against an offending bump can help lessen the inflamed appearance of a pimple overnight. Not much trouble, unless you can't stand getting cold hands.

Tomatoes are not only nutritious; they are also effective against acne. Pick a couple of fresh, ripe tomatoes from your garden and use the pulp ointment-like on your pimples. Leave it on for an hour or so and then wash it off with clean water. The nutrients in the tomato have been proven effective in fighting off bacteria, even those lodged in your pores.

If you're not in the kitchen but in the bathroom, then you need not go far for a solution. Use the toothpaste on your bathroom cabinet and apply some on your zits before you go to bed. Wash it off next morning and you will notice how the swelling has gone down. Easy, hassle-free and quite effective!

Making a home treatment for acne does not require a lot of time. You don't even need to spend a lot of money to make one since most ingredients are already lying around in your kitchen or your garden. Just choose the one you like best and start mixing.

4. For home treatment for acne, apply an oatmeal mask at least once or twice a week. Cook oatmeal, and whilst it is still warm (not scalding hot) apply it to your whole face. Let the oatmeal to dry out, and then wash it away. You can also use dried oatmeal, dampened - but not cooked - with warm water as a facial scrub to exfoliate the skin and clean the pores.

5. Avoid consumption of processed foods, and stick to more natural fruits and vegetables. Don't suppose that a food allergy will leave you unconscious on the floor - the allergic reaction can appear in many forms, like acne breakouts. 6. Many natural ingredients are available for the safe treatment of acne, which makes your skin free of pimples, scars and cysts. Fresh Fruits like papaya, tomato and lemon are used to overcome skin disorders which give rise to acne. Different herbs such as garlic, mint, cinnamon, nutmeg, fenugreek, turmeric, radish and sesame seeds protects and prevents your skin against acne. These are also useful for getting rid of toxins, alleviating inflammation and fighting against bacteria. Following are some natural remedies for treating acne:
a)Juice of raw papaya is useful for treating swelling pimples.

c)Mixture of lemon juice and cinnamon powder is also very effective for the skin.

e)A paste of honey and cinnamon powder should be applied on the affected areas.

The essential thing is to drink plenty of water, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, get plenty of sleep, clean your face at least twice a day, and take vitamins - particularly vitamin A and vitamin E.
