If the acne appears to be slightly worse with inflammation, swelling, and reddening of skin, it would be better to visit a doctor. There are several other topical treatments available. The type of treatment to be given is decided by the doctor.

Wipe the oily spots on your face by rubbing alcohol or a combination of alcohol and acetone that helps degrease your oily skin. Many drugstores even sell pre-moistened, individually wrapped alcohol wipes that are really portable, you can carry them in your purse for quick touch-ups all day long.

Always take balanced and healthy food to avoid oily skin. Smoking can increase the oil level of your body. It is better to avoid smoking if you are facing problems for oily skin. Use face wash if you want to get rid of an oily skin. You can by any good face wash that is well known in the market. Clean your face with that face wash gently to remove the oil from your skin.
