[H239]Heavy Duty Pickup Trucks
by Nathe, Nat
Vehicles should not only be made for the normal road as there are still a lot of places with only off-road terrains. That is the concept of Henry Ford and so he started manufacturing vehicles specifically for off-road use and so his Ford Pickup Trucks were born into this world. One of the cars that immortalized Ford's niche in the car industry, is unarguably the Ford Mustang. This is the car that ?started it all.? Since its debut to the public, its sales has been in an upstream direction. It caused panic to other competing brands which were then unprepared for the birth of such a ride. General Motors and Chevrolet were left with the battle to create the car that could top the Mustang. Years later, the Ford Mustang is still one of the bets coupes to ever grace the industry. With its high quality Ford Mustang Parts, one cannot contest how this car once dominated the top.

These Pickup Trucks should always be kept in their proper condition and only by regularly checking the could owners ensure their longevity. The Ford Pickup Parts are made for heavy duty performance because of the obvious use for off-road terrains. Thus, these parts undergo through a lot of stress.

Among the Ford Pickup Parts that receive a lot of stress is the . Ford Pickups are most likely used in long trips under the heat of the sun. This is because summer breaks are the mostly likely vacation time for the families when they don't have to worry about school. The Ford Radiator holds the responsibility of making sure that the engine does not go into overheating. It disperses the heat absorbed by the coolant from the car's engine. It is among the vital parts that contribute to the efficiency of the vehicle's operation system.

The Ford Radiator starts to malfunction if the coolant has absorbed too much heat and it is already beyond its capacity of heat absorption. A thorough check up is the only thing that could save the Ford Radiators from completely deteriorating. Driving on the road and suddenly needing to stop because of an overheating problem is a really embarrassing situation.

The only thing that could save drivers from this shame is to check the Ford Pickup Parts like the Ford Radiator and make sure these are working well. Car owners driving old Ford models should already be on alert and might as well replace the old Ford Pickup Parts before they experience problems that could be caused by these things. Remember, nothing, even the most durable Ford Pickup Parts could withstand the wear and tear problems brought by the test of time.

Ford Motor Company maker of high quality Lincoln parts has presented a total of three concept vehicles at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The three concept cars introduced were the Ford Interceptor, the Ford Airstream and the Lincoln MKR, all exemplifying the three major future styling directions that the company is heading to.

It was J Mays, Group Vice President of Design and Chief Creative Officer that has taken the responsibility of describing the Interceptor during the Auto Show. He described the Interceptor as ?Modern American Muscle.? He further said, "We translated the design language of last year's Ford F-250 Super Chief concept right onto this car, complete with an integrated three-bar grille. Inside, Interceptor is minimalist but sleek, and it's all business."

The Airstream with its futuristic design is a product of the partnership between Ford and RV. The Airstream concept exemplifies Ford's commitment to lead in the growing crossover segment. Mays also stated, "The same consumer demographic changes that are making crossovers so popular are creating huge demand for recreational vehicles as well. This concept draws inspiration from several sources -- obviously Airstream's iconic design language -- but also Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece film 2001: A Space Odyssey, and some of the world's most sophisticated powertrain technology."

Aside from J Mays, another Ford Executive has joined in introducing the Lincoln MKR concept and it's in the person of Peter Horbury, Executive Director of Design, North America. Horbury described the Lincoln MKR concept as a four-door coupe which he claims greatly reflects the all new design strategy that Ford is employing for its Lincoln lines of vehicles. According to him, ?The MKR Concept have stance and profile are more sporting than stately. It has a dynamic, sloping belt line with a beveled edge, a strong C-pillar and an elegant rear that falls away like the train of an evening gown. Most of these cues are inspired by iconic Lincolns of the past. This car looks thoroughly Lincoln and very modern."

Aside from the three concept vehicles, Mark Fields, Ford President for the Americas has also offered reporters the chance to view the 2008 F-Series Super Duty and saying that the F-Series reflects Ford's commitment to remain as one of America's leading truck company.

In a statement Fields said, "Thirty years of F-Series leadership is just the beginning. While the competition has been furiously benchmarking us, we've been inventing the future trucks that continue raising the bar. The new Super Duty, which is all new for 2008, is our most capable pickup ever. This truck is literally unstoppable."
