[A512]Americas Next Top Model
by Groshan Fabiola, Gro
Sarah Hartshorne rose to be one of the viewers' favorite on this season of America 's Next Top Model. Surely all the girls were beautiful, but Hartshorne's beauty seemed to amplify itself whenever she posed for the camera. A sweet, good-natured girl, she was intelligent and was fun to watch. Unfortunately, she was sent home, leaving a number of fans disappointed.

Tyra often gives larger-sized models a chance on America 's Next Top Model, but most of them hadn't made it to the top spot either. This made things harder for Sarah, who wasn't plus-sized. In a recent interview with BuddyTV, Sarah Hartshorne shared some insights on her experience in the reality series.

"There shouldn't be such a divide between plus-size and normal-size," Sarah Hartshorne said. "Anyone who has a well-proportioned and beautiful body and face who can make clothes look fashionable and interesting to other people should be able to model'I use this example all the time: When Twiggy became a model, it was revolutionary that she was so thin."

The young model added that models, like normal people, should not be categorized in any way. She said, "Toccara [from Cycle 3] is one of the most beautiful women in the world. She is just stunning. She shouldn't have to be so strictly categorized as different from me, and I shouldn't be so strictly categorized as different from someone like, say, Jenah, who is very thin and so gorgeous. There should be a place for all of us."

Sarah also said that America 's Next Top Model may have portrayed her as unconfident and uncomfortable during her final episode where she was required to wear a fishnet outfit.

"Taken out of context, I think my comments made me seem a lot more uncomfortable than I was. I did feel hot! And I did feel comfortable. It took some getting used to, but I think it did for all of us. I wasn't as uncomfortable as it maybe came across," she revealed. "I want to make it clear that it is OK for someone my size to be dressed like that! I don't want girls to see that and say, 'Oh, gee, she's uncomfortable, so I should be uncomfortable,' too. I felt gorgeous! It was really fun and kind of a great role to get into, this dominatrix vampire."

Along with the revelation of Cycle 10's contenders for America 's Next Top Model was the announcement that Leslie ?Twiggy? Hornby was leaving the show, and thus won't be part of the judges' panel in the next season. The CW cited "scheduling conflicts" as the reason behind her departure, and that there were no hard feelings as she left.

"We would like to thank Twiggy for her great contributions to the show," executive producer for the reality show said. "We wish her well in her endeavors and hope to collaborate with her in future cycles of ANTM as well as other projects."

It was then revealed that former supermodel Paulina Porizkova was covering Twiggy's spot as panel judge. America 's Next Top Model is to return next month, and we have a few weeks to get to know Porizkova before she graces our television screens.

The Tyra Banks reality competition is very proud to have Porizkova join their team. In fact, Mok said, "We are thrilled to have Paulina as a part of this cycle's judging panel. The show and participants will benefit a great deal from her vast modeling knowledge and expertise."

Hailing from the Czech Republic , Paulina Porizkova was named the model of the 1980s by American Photo magazine. She began modeling when she was just 15 years old, and she immediately launched her stardom by appearing on numerous covers of established fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan and Glamour. She was also named one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People twice in the 1990s.

Like ANTM host Tyra Banks, Porizkova also ventured into acting, and has appeared alongside notable actors such as Johnny Depp, Tom Selleck, and John Stamos. Aside from being an actress, she is also an author, who wrote the novel "A Model Summer" in 2007. Porizkova also briefly appeared in Dancing with the Stars fourth season, where she and her partner Alec Mazo were voted off first.

Catch Porizkova in Cycle 10 of America 's Next Top Model on Wednesday, February 20 at 9pm ET.
