Tomorrow sees the release of the brand new Apple iPhone 3G, one of the most anticipated mobile phones in history. But how big IS the stir it's creating? What effects is it having in the world of mobile phones?
Apple iPhone 3G - a new evolution!
Tomorrow marks the release date of a brand new evolution of one of the most talked about mobile phones in history: the iPhone. You see, tomorrow, there'll be a new version of it, aimed to address the complaints some people had about the first iPhone. Called the Apple iPhone 3G, you can probably imagine what major addition Apple have made to let it compete better in the world of mobile phones. That's right, it's 3G, meaning that finally, an iPhone can compete on a level playing field with all the mobile phones around it. At last, it can connect to the internet as fast as its rivals. The other big addition to the Apple iPhone 3G is GPS, finally making the Google Maps application something worth having, because now, as well as finding where things are on your mobile phone, the Apple iPhone 3G can even take you to those places!
Of course, it's not all perfect, and just like its predecessor, the Apple iPhone 3G still has a lot of flaws (although, of course, Apple fans will immediately say these aren't flaws, and people are wrong and bad for saying they are flaws...). Take for example, the camera. A recent study found that 47% of mobile phone users say a camera higher than 2 megapixels is a MUST HAVE. Apple seem to believe otherwise, and Apple fans have been heard to say that mobile phone users don't need any more than 2 megapixels. And so, the Apple iPhone 3G, just like its forerunner, has a 2 megapixel camera, MINUS flash, autofocus and video. A camera of that spec is really only good for sending MMS messages to other mobile phones... so it's a shame that the Apple iPhone 3G won't send or receive MMS messages!
One thing is for certain, though: the Apple iPhone 3G is definitely putting the wind up other people who make mobile phones. Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung... the Apple iPhone 3G has REALLY made them up their game!
Bring on the competition - rivals to the Apple iPhone 3G
Yup, all the big mobile phone makers are racing to get rivals to the out there, but the one that could potentially have the most mind-blowing offering is Sony Ericsson, if the rumours about the so-called 'Hecaro' are true. If they ARE indeed true, then the Sony Ericsson Hecaro (its development codename) could well be one of the single most mind-blowing, jaw-dropping, perception-altering mobile phones ever made. The alleged spec of this monster easily match, outclass and obliterate the specs on the Apple iPhone 3G, with 5 megapixel camera, a brand new, fully touch-based interface, awesome music player, HSDPA data access, built in GPS and a screen as big as the Apple baby. Put simply, if it's all true, are soon about to announce one of the best mobile phones ever made!

If you have ever spent an entire evening playing World ofWarcraft only to find that you managed to gain 1 level and about 12 gold in theprocess and didn't gain much in the way of profession skills, you know the painof having wasted a great deal of time with little or nothing to show for it.Luckily, there are ways to save yourself some time. Here are five of the bestways to knock off as much as 1 day of play time on your way to Level 70.

1.       Stop Grinding ? Grinding for XP is pointless and with the adventof Patch 2.3, it is completely unnecessary. Level up the right way withquesting. If you focus all of your gameplay attention on questing, you will geta bonus for every task you complete and runa lower risk of getting bored in the process.

2.       Less Wandering ? Don't wander around looking for better quests. You can almost always find what you are looking for within a few minutes ofyour current position and more quests are always in reach. If you can't findsomething, look it up in a guide or on a WoW database to save more time.

3.       Questing in Chunks ? When you complete quests, do as many at atime as possible. If one quest calls for you to kill 20 murlocs and anothercalls for you to loot 10 items from those goblins, make sure to have bothquests at the same time to cut back on how long it takes to complete eitherquest. Sometimes you can get as many as 5 or 6 quests that can all be completedin one fell swoop.

4.       Forget the Upgrades ? Don't waste time and gold constantly stoppingto upgrade your gear and your weapons when you don't really need to. Until youreach Level 50 or so, you should have everything you need for your gear andweapons from quest rewards and loot drops, negating a good chunk of time inrunning back and forth to major towns.

5.       The Right Zone ? Make sure you are in the right level zone foryour level. If you are Level 45 and are already venturing out into thePlaguelands, you are only going to kill yourself much faster and waste a gooddeal of time getting there and back. Look up the best level zones for yourlevel and faction and don't forget to take your class and your solo status intoaccount.

When you know where to be, when to be there, and how long tostay there, your leveling experience will improve dramatically. You will gethigher faster and you won't waste potential days wandering the continentslooking for quests you'll enjoy. A power leveling guide can even further boostyour experience as well, making it possible to focus even more attention on thesubtler, more fun aspects of the game.
