Whether it will be for home use or business use, Lexmark ink cartridges can offer excellent quality printing. This is because it is designed to be compatible with Lexmark inkjet printers. These include print quantity, expected print quality, print speed, features, paper type, and the printer to be used?that is, one should identify the need then choose the appropriate one among the different Lexmark inkjet cartridges available to suit that need.

Coming a long way since the early 90's

Lexmark is one of the principal developers, manufacturer and suppliers of printing and various imaging solutions for diverse customer needs in more than 150 countries. It offers printers and other printing products -- such as inkjet cartridges and copiers -- for home users, small scale businesses and large firms. The company originally started as IBM's print subdivision in 1991. In 1995, it went public removing all IBM insignias on its primary products, which included laser, inkjet and dot matrix printers.

Today, reaching over 150 countries, Lexmark is known to be one of the key players in developing, manufacturing, and supplying different printing and imaging solutions including accessories such as inkjet cartridges and copiers. Their products are designed to cater to the varying needs of those customers at home, those running small enterprises, and up to those in large organizations.

In caring for your printer, you should take into consideration the quality of the inkjet cartridge you install. And there is no better solution than buying original Lexmark inkjet cartridges to suit your printing needs. Looking around, you may find lower-priced cartridges that claim to offer the same quality of printing. But keep in mind that once printer-ink compatibility is jeopardized, you are increasing the risk of damaging your printer. At first you may not feel the difference but the amount that you saved from buying the less-reliable cartridges may not be enough to cover the damages your printer may incur in the long run.

Bear in mind that, for the most part, an ink cartridge influences the functional life of your inkjet printer. It is always recommended that the customers replace their worn-out inkjet cartridges with a compatible model from a brand with a reliable reputation. Coming from a long way since their birth in the early nineties, Lexmark remains as one of the leading printer companies in the world. Lexmark ink cartridges are guaranteed to deliver top performance level for your various printing needs.

If you are like most people today, you have at least one computer and one printer in your home, and more in your office.

If you have a printer connected to your laptop or desktop computer at home or in a small business office, you probably go through a lot of printer cartridges each month.

Whether you are printing reports for school projects, business reports or papers, email, jokes, recipes or references pages, that can amount to a lot of ink.

And when you are finished with that ink cartridge, what do you do with it?
You probably just throw it away and install a new ink cartridge, right?

All of those ink cartridges have to go somewhere and they are NOT biodegradable. So, in addition to batteries and cell phones, we now have another source of permanent garbage.

Why not consider one of the following options to make your ink cartridge last longer, OR recycle your cartridge when you are ready to throw it away?

Recycling or reusing a printer cartridge doesn't take that much effort and it will really help the environment.

If you are the adventuresome type, you can save money on your printer cartridges by reusing them. When your cartridge runs out of ink, don't throw it away.

Instead, go online or run to your local office supply store and buy a refill for your cartridge. The refill process takes a little time the first time you do it, and the instructions may seem cumbersome. But, after you have the first refill under your belt, you will feel like a pro.

Refills are much less expensive than buying another cartridge so you'll feel good about saving money too!

If you have never been good at that sort of thing, at least consider recycling your ink cartridge. Look into these options by doing a search online or talking to your local office supply store. Many office supply stores will give you plastic bags to keep on hand.

When you are finished with your printer cartridge and you go to the store to buy a new one, you simply pop your old printer cartridge into the plastic bag and seal it.

Take it to the office supply store with you and drop it off to them to recycle. They may even give you a discount on your new printer cartridge when you drop off the old one!

Check into online store policies as well, as some will allow you to return your printer cartridge to get coupons or discounts on your next purchase.

If your business is a bit larger and you buy your cartridges in bulk from a wholesaler, you can also check into your wholesaler's policy regarding recycling.

Some wholesalers will allow you to collect and return old cartridges for recycling AND give you a discount on your next bulk purchase for each batch of recycled cartridges you return.

So, you DO have options. You can choose to REUSE your cartridges by injecting new ink into them instead of buying new ink cartridges, and save some money in the process.

OR, you can recycle your ink cartridges, save some money in the process, AND feel good about protecting the environment for yourself and the next generation!
