This is what beginners must be wondering about… “What is there to learn?” All the websites out there are talking about making money online, from comforts of one's home. They also mention that anybody can do it. A housewife, a retired, senior citizen, new mother, student anybody - and everyone has an equal to survive and succeed. “What is there to learn after all?”

The websites also say, you don't need money, experience or qualification to start a home business. All you need is a computer at home and internet access. Okay, I have a computer and access to internet. Now, what does it take? What do I need to learn?

Well, one step at a time. There are many kinds of jobs or business' you can do from home. You can join a program that will send you surveys and you will be paid to answer each one of these. See? It fits the bill. To take online surveys all you need is a computer and internet access. And everyone has an equal chance to survive and succeed.

Likewise you can buy a domain name, build a site of your own, (like I do) sell various products on it. When people buy from your site, you get your commissions. In this kind of home business you need to learn the techniques to move your website up the search engine. The techniques are available online. Free of cost. Techniques such as having tightly themed, relevant content on your site, optimizing, exchanging links, writing articles, attending and contributing in forums, placing press-releases.. and so on. They are simple step by step techniques that you pick up as you move ahead.

The home business website takes time to pick up. It also takes a while for you to get a proper hang of things. The learning is an ongoing process. Everyday something is upgraded. Every visit of google leaves footprints behind. You may have a question that needs immediate answering and you can get it answered right away.. You just have to know which word to type in the search engine to get what you want. And your query will be answered right there.

If you have understood what I mean then, I can make it simpler for you. See, you have a website about home business and someone is looking for home business. When he/she types home business in the search engine, your site has to show within the first 5-10 options. This means you are high up in the search engine. And to reach here, is the name of the game! This is what is there to learn. How to position your site high up in the search engines for particular keywords (e.g make money online, work at home, home business etc). Once your site reaches here, you have to put in efforts to stay there. Even Julia Roberts and Tom Cruise have to make an effort to stay at the top, who are we?

Walking away from a $600 a day job was probably the scariest and, yet, best thing I could ever do!

You are probably going, ?Yeah, right! I wish I had the $600 a day job.? A couple of years ago, I would most definitely agree with you, but after reaching that level of income, and understanding the workload issues, and travel involved it began to affect my health and my family. That's right, the heart core of my life suffered! When what matters most begins to suffer from the efforts you are doing to supposedly make life better, then that is when decisions need to be made. At least I woke up and saw the writing on the wall.

I am not alone! Today, millions of people are sick and tired of being sick and tired, and are walking away from the corporate world in greater masses. The saying is so true that ?Home is where the heart is?.

As a loving mom to three kids, I knew this to be true from the moment my, now 18 year old, was placed in my arms at his birth! During the intervening time I had done everything possible to try to find balance between work and family. As a RN I worked part time, or job shared, or worked straight nights. Finally I gave up a secure nursing job, as it required me to work long 12 hour shifts. It just didn't work well with my family. Earlier this year, I was lucky enough to get a consulting position which was what I thought would be ?IT?, but found that although I worked mostly days, and no longer had to work nights, or weekends, found that the away time from my family was just as difficult. The option, was working from home. The vehicle, is online marketing.

So, you are probably asking, ?What did you find online to make you leave the security of a well paying job??

Well, that too is a story, as for several years I tried many home based businesses, both online and offline with dismal results. The products were good, the business plans, and commissions were truly genuinely great, but what was lacking was a comprehensive program of lead generating, and marketing education that wouldn't waste my money and time. Believe me, I was truly part of the 95% of work at home mom's and dad's that make up the abysmal stats that give networking a bad name, but I also knew that there was a 5% group that earn substantial income, and knew a system that works. I also knew that if I hung in there, I too, would find it! Guess what? ?I finally did?. The best part is that I am willing to share that secret with you.

My new mission in life is to help as many people become successful, and reach their core dreams, and goals. To obtain true fulfillment and prosperity, as it was truly meant to be. If you have read this far, then I will not disappoint you. If you truly want the success that I am achieving, then follow someone who has what you want. Learn from someone who has been there and done that, and doesn't want anyone else to travel the road of hard knocks. Live the life you truly desire. Work from home. Be there when your kids get up in the morning, and when they go to sleep at night. Be there for them. Never miss a school event again, and be there when they experience their first heartbreak, or when they need that hug, or simply to hear them say, ?I love you, mom?.
