The human race is a living breathing mechanism, it has to be or we would be extinct. During the course of humans surviving on the planet, a lot of things, some not good, were done for the overall progress of the civilization. As humans evolve, so does the world. You would hope that we are constantly in touch with our basic self. Always remembering that we're just humans. We don't have powers. We're not any better then the people that came before us. Maybe we're just a little more lucky because of the societal advances over the years.
Many luxuries that were once unthinkable are now the norm, like, cars, electricity, running water, television, etc. At this point, most of us regards those things as our birthright, but they weren't. None of the things we consider necessities today, would've been possible without the sacrifices of the past. Unfortunately, we are humans and we tend to forget the past. We start to believe our own hype. We think we are the world, when actually we're just a small speck within the vastness of the planet. I guess it's hard to think straight, when you start to believe you're the reason greatness occurred, instead of realizing that you're only reaping the benefits of those who preceded you.
As technology has advanced, humans have become more knowledgeable and more arrogant. Just because we know we can do something, does that mean we have to do it. Does there come a time when experimenting for the sake of experimenting, is really just an excuse because you ran out of ideas. What was the purpose of the pet rock? And what was the need for a Zee-Horse? What is a Zee-Horse, you asked.
Well, when you take a zebra stallion and mate it with a horse mare, you get a Zee-Horse. The Zee-Horse is shaped like a horse, but has stripes on its legs and sometimes has stripes on the body and neck. The Zee-Horse is also infertile. A professor Cossar Ewart, who was a geneticist, decided to cross these two animals because he wanted to see how the father of the Zee-Horse would relate to it. Later, the US Government carried out the same type of experiments. I understand that lots of things happen in the wilds with animals, but those things are nature. You would think a geneticist could put his talents to more constructive use.
The zebra is a unique animal all by itself. Why should you mate it with a horse, what would be accomplished? To me, this does nothing more than reduce the animals into something lesser. There are so many fascinating animals and part of their mystery is that they're all different. Each one has a personality all its own. I understand the mating process if you're trying to save a species, but the Zee-Horse wasn't created for some higher purpose. And why did the US Government waste time and tax dollars on the Zee-Horse? What vital information could the Government get from a Zee-Horse? This is a situation where man does something just because he can; and it doesn't matter if it really serves no purpose.
I was reminded recently of Emma Curtis Hopkin's beautiful work in which she advised her readers that God and Good are synonymous and that God is always calling us to greater good and to believe otherwise is to believe a lie.
Have you ever just pondered your good, dreamed a dream and then allowed the voices of others to cremate your dreams? Of course you have, like I have. When we stop believing in Good for our lives, we are believing in a lie. The truth is God Is and the truth is Good Is. They go together and when we dare NAME OUR GOOD, we are CLAIMING OUR GOD! The clear voices of Good that call us in the unobstructed moments when we allow ourselves to dream of a better life, are not really just the fantasies of a bored and frustrated saint, but the clear voices of God. We are getting a glimpse to show us what is possible. God's Good is calling you! Why do we doubt our good? Because the voices of the ages of the past with their disagreeing doctrines take us out of the game.
A metaphysician's work is to go beyond the physical, and to actually cause something to happen on this field of matter. A metaphysician is called to heal the sick. Sickness whether in body, finances, or any area of our life is a disharmony of God's Good. A metaphysician goes back to truth in MIND, and goes back to First Cause, which is knowing the Truth. The Truth is that God and Good are synonymous and the Good that calls me is the voice of God calling me. God's power is for Good and God's power is my power now. I am the instrument of God and I have been given the word of truth to use it in full authority, therefore I am willing to know that the God of my being is calling me to accept the Good and live in celebration of its perfect life. Right here and right now God is and right here and right now Good is. I stand forth and name my Good right now!
God is the free life that we seek. God is the supply and support that we stand in. God is the voice, the life and the love that we live in. We are seeking our abundant life and that good is seeking us! Name your good!
Several years ago I was passionate about the vision that God placed into my heart. The call was for me to speak the uplifted word and expand the awareness of God's power for Good. I was passionate about helping to enlighten people away from the beliefs that would keep them in limitation, and awaken them to the power for God's Good in their lives and to help transform limited perceptions in order for people to live more joyful, abundant lives. I felt compelled to do this and felt alive with this calling. After a while many people complained that this wasn't an acceptable vision for all kinds of reasons. Finally, wanting to please others I agreed that we should have a new community visioning session.
This new committee decided upon a new vision for our church, one where our church was a place where personal and global awakening unfolds. This new vision I began to stand in, live in and found myself committed to. I would work to awaken my being, express my light and in turn, would affect our own global awakening. It seems that I did that one wrong, too, in the eyes of some people. They didn't think I should have a personal vision, or if I did express in unique ways, I should do it somewhere else. What have I learned? You cannot please people. They'll try to get you no matter which move you make. So now I stand in God's vision for my own good and I will walk in it. I will stand in a place where God calls me to greater Good and I will name my Good. I will encourage others to name their Good as well! I will encourage people to live their best life and know the truth that is beyond all dysfunctions of the human mind. God means everything for good, so let go of trying to please others, claim your Good and know that it is all spiritual, it is all God, it is the expression of God's perfect life in you that is calling you to awaken to your own magnificence and live in health, joy, abundance, life and love. Just go for it!
The Good I am seeking is my God, My God is my Life. The Good I am seeking is my health, God is my health. The Good I am seeking is my strength, God is my strength. The Good I am seeking is my support, God is my support. The Good I am seeking is my defense, God is my defense. Emma Curtis Hopkins
