Before going in for the interview, it is better to prepare and learn as much as possible about the company. Gathering background information on employers, companies past performance and future plans are a crucial element in successful interview preparation. Prepare your self to ask few appropriate questions. Avoid controlling the interviewers time as he/she may have appointments to attend thereafter. Salary and benefits can be discussed later when the company shows interest in hiring you.

If you sense that there is nothing to more to say or ask, it means that interview is over. Take that as cue; stand up and thank the interviewer for the time and shake hands firmly. You can ask when can you hear from them. Lastly you can express your interest in being hired by the company.

You can follow it up with a thank you note to the interviewer with a brief note mentioning your interest in the job.

4.Eye contact
When you are questioned, always maintain an eye contact with the interviewers. Do not stare at them while answering them; instead give them looks that convey you are paying attention to what they are saying.

5.Facial expressions
Do not keep your facial expressions blank, and try to smile a little at times. This will convey your enthusiasm and will help you ease your nervousness as well.

6.Voice
It is important that you speak in a very comprehensive and natural tone. Do not rush with your answers or take too long to think, although you may take short pauses.

7.Humor
Do not remain very serious and try to use appropriate humor at times. Not only will it lighten the atmosphere but will also convey your capability to handle tough conditions.

8.Professionalism
Try to keep your comments and answers positive and on professional level. Do not use labored language, and keep your expression lucid instead. Most importantly, never ever use any sort of abusive language in the interview. Do not try to tightly control your body while answering the questions, tries to keep it a little natural and free.

Just remember that your body language remains in sync with the answers you are giving to the interviewers and you will remain in control of the situation and confident all throughout the interview.
