Let's first look at what stress is. Stress is the emotional and physical effect on you caused by how you respond to stimulus from the outside world. Stress can show up physically through health problems, or mentally through behavior changes. It can cause all sorts of problems and it affects everyone differently. These are all signs of stress. When you feel them, write them down. They are early signs or indicators that you are becoming stressed. When you see these signs you are becoming stressed, you can take action and do something about it to stop overwhelming you.

This stress causes your body to release hormones that cause our heart to speed up, the blood flow to our brain and muscles increases drastically, our body to divert energy from our digestive system to where it is needed, and we breathe faster to get more oxygen to our muscles. However in a situation like stressing out about your money, your body thinks that you in a "fight or flight" situation. There is no outlet for that that excess energy or the extra stress hormones to go.
