When it comes to mixed martial arts, it can be argued that nobody in America comes close to having mastered the sport like Chuck Liddell. Also known as The Iceman, Chuck Liddell, who is six feet, two inches tall and weighs two hundred and five pounds, fights for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Chuck Liddell has a solid background in both collegiate wrestling and kickboxing, and has trained in both Koei Kan karate and Kempo Karate. Although he primarily wins by standing up, he has used his wrestling skills many times to prevent from being taken down. One of the most unique qualities about Chuck Liddell is the way he has a relaxed, hands down stance while fighting. He also throws unorthodox punches at weird angles, which frequently catches his opponents off guard.
Over the years, Chuck Liddell has taken down many worthy opponents, and this includes masters of the sport like Tito Ortiz, Jeremy Horn, Randy Couture and Kevin Randleman. In 1998, Chuck Liddell made his UFC debut with a victory (by decision) over Noe Hernandez. Four years later, in 2002, he was widely regarded as the number one UFC fighter in the light heavyweight division.
During his time in the sport, Chuck Liddell developed a fairly large fan base. Those who followed the sport loved him, and in 2002 the UFC tried to capitalize on his popularity by attempting to organize a title fight with the then current champion, Tito Ortiz.
When it came time to actually schedule the fight, Ortiz backed down, claiming that schedule conflicts were keeping him out of the ring. Instead, the UFC paired Chuck Liddell with Randy Couture. In UFC 43, Couture won the fight, with the referee stopping the fight due to the sheer number of strikes that Couture was delivering to Liddell.
In 2005, Chuck Liddell joined forces with Randy Couture in the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, a reality show seen on Spike TV where contestants fought for a contract with the UFC. The duo coached separate teams, with both of the winners for the show, Diego Sanchez and Forrest Griffin, being members of Team Liddell.
Overall, the series was a huge success for both everyone involved (thanks largely in part to Chuck Liddells participation). Spike TV saw a drastic increase in ratings, the UFC gained popularity as a sport and both winners went on to enjoy their careers in MMA.
The main reason is because the majority of people never take their chances when they come along. So you need to be one of those who grab every chance when it arrives. You must search out for it, be on the look out and be ready for your chance when it comes.
You have probably heard of Penicillin, discovered by Sir Alexander Fleming while working in his laboratory in the basement of St. Mary's Hospital in London, UK in 1928. Now several people had reported the effects of Penicillium on bacteria much earlier. However, it was Fleming who managed to seize the moment and his name is the one associated with the discovery.
What about the 20 year old who is taking exams. in English and maths? What did he (it's usually a he!) do between the ages of 14 and 16? Messed about in and out of school, that's what. There were always better, more important things to do than school work. Only girls did their homework, after all.
If he's had a second chance, he's one of the lucky ones, because the majority just don't get a second chance.
Take the person who is offered a move to another part of the country for a rather lucrative promotion. He'll move up two grades and be in line for a top position in about 2 or 3 years' time. He thinks it over for quite a while. He's not stupid, and this would be a big step up the career ladder.
He asks his Mum and Dad. They're very supportive. He asks his mates. They're about half and half. Half for, half against. At the moment it looks as though he's going to go because the balance of opinion is in favour of the move.
Then he asks the clinching person, the one that really matters, his girl friend!
She starts to cry and says she doesn't want him to go and leave her. 'But you could come with me,' he says. 'What?' she shouts, 'and leave all my friends?'
The argument rages on and on, well into the night and next morning. There's no compromise, no give and take. So he gives in and opts to stay where he is.
About 6 months later, now with another girl friend(!), he spots another advert similar to the one he applied for 6 months before. He applies again, confident that he'd at least get an interview, but this time he's turned down. He doesn't even get a chance to try for it. He's lost out and will probably regret his earlier decision for the rest of his life.
Regrettably, this is an all too familiar story. If you get a golden chance in life, you must grasp it with both hands and cling on for dear life. So what if you'll be away from your friends for a while? It's not the end of the world. You can always visit and they can visit you. Keep in touch on the internet. The main thing is to take the chance when you can. You will also make new friends!
Unfortunately, you cannot predict what is just around the corner. So you have to take the chances you are presented with and work out all the other details after. You'll always find that there is a solution which works if you try hard enough!
Now, what would you do if you were guaranteed a sum of half a million pounds if you paid ?500 to release the funds? Hopefully, you would first of all get a written statement, proving that the money is forthcoming! Then, you'd beg everyone you know to lend you as much as they could, telling them that, in a few weeks time, they would get double whatever they lent you. You pay out ?1,000 (twice ?500) and get ?500,000 in return. A good bargain, I'd say!
Or you'd get an extra job, or two or three. You'd work night and day to take advantage of the generous offer, wouldn't you? You see, if you're motivated enough, a lot of things which you may at first think are impossible, turn out to be within your grasp. But you must go for it.
That's what those few rich people have done. The Richard Branson's of this world didn't just pick up half a million, just like that. They saw an opportunity and worked hard to make it happen for them.
How would you feel if you had no more worries about:
*Family Holidays - You can have as many as you want *Where to live - Buy your own mansion, or even two or three *The next car - Buy that Ferrari *The children's education - Sign them up at the best school you can find *Your Parent's Health - Pay for a private Nurse, or team of nurses *Traffic congestion - Fly your own Helicopter.
All things are possible with your own online business.
Now would you hesitate if you could earn $500+ each and every day from now?
Of course, there are no guarantees. It depends entirely on your efforts. You would not be alone, however, there are helping hands along the way.
Your online business will secure the future for you and your family.
