Murphy has other laws, like "Mother's way is best. If you don't believe it, ask her". That is a funny thing that many people say, but in reality it does have merit, especially if you are a mother. Or how about the one about finding love'Â Â "All the good ones are taken". We know that is not really the case but it sure feels like it when you are the one looking for love and everybody seems to be taken or already married. Even though it may seem like there are a select few people who are right for you, it is necessary to stay away from negative or toxic people. They don't do anything to help you feel better during the holidays, so just steer clear.
My last piece of advice is to make sure and make some good memories, as well as establishing some traditions. Both memories and traditions are what stay with us long after the holiday is over, so be certain to enjoy the time spent with family. Enjoy all the activities that are available during the holidays and enjoy any family that you have around you. Do things that you will remember next year and can repeat again. That is how traditions begin and that is how to make beautiful, long lasting memories, for yourself and your family. Have fun, enjoy the holidays, remember Murphy's Law, laugh, stay away from negative people, and you will see how much happier you will be while you make those lifetime memories.
