As summer is fast approaching, many of us are planning weekend trips with girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands and wives, friends, and family. While this is a very exciting thing, thinking about planning what to bring in your suitcase is not as fun. One thing to always keep in mind is that you need to be prepared for any type of weather when choosing your clothes for the trip. Here is a list of some essentials that every man should pack for his weekend trip.
1.Knit Pullover. This is an item of mens designer clothing that is appropriate in a variety of different situations. If you headed somewhere that may be cold or windy, then this is an obvious item of clothing, but for some other destinations it may not be as clear. If you are going somewhere that is going to be warm then you are most likely thinking that you do not need a pullover, but this is not true. Regardless of where you are traveling you should keep in mind that it will get cooler at nighttime and you will be happy that you packed that knit pullover.
2. Sunglasses. Every guy must have a cool pair of shades with him at all times. These will help to prevent damage from the sun and dark circles regardless of the weather. They can be found at any mens designer clothing store and are absolutely essential for any sunny weather weekend trip.
3.Black Trousers. Black trousers are a part of mens designer clothing that is incredibly versatile. They are great because during the day they can be worn with a tee shirt and kept casual, but they can also be dressed up at nighttime with a nice shirt. Plus, they are black so they go with everything!
4.Denim Jacket. Some men choose not to wear knit pullovers and that is okay; there are other ways to stay warm at night or on a chilly, windy day. Denim allows you to be warm, but casual at the same time. Even men who have a strong interest in mens designer clothing want to be cool and comfortable, especially on a relaxing weekend trip. If you choose a denim jacket though, you must wear one that contrasts enough with your pants, especially if you are wearing jeans. Also, if you get hot you can always tie it around your waist or throw it over you shoulders.
If you are ready to take a motorcycle weekend trip, there are some things you will need to plan before you go. A buddy of mine who loves his Harley Road King has a wife who does not like it, so one thing we do is have what we like to call our pace car-with my the wife of my buddy driving it! Because we usually have lots of things to take with us, it is nice to have a pace car full of necessary things when you reach your destination, but not necessarily things you need on the way. Our pace car carries things like sleeping bags, extra food, a larger tool kit, blankets, and our tents. We also like to have his wife have the other end of the walkie-talkie in case she decides to stop at a shopping mall along the way and we need something in the car. We also make sure she carries beer to sip in the evenings when we are not riding out on the open road. When planning for a motorcycle weekend trip, you should track out a good map for your destination, the number of miles you will be traveling, and what options are available on your route for gasoline or hotels if you are not camping out. You can easily map out your destination with one of the numerous mapping options available on the Internet or if you are good, do it manually using that old atlas. Beyond the pace car with my buddys wife in it, we like to make sure we bring other necessary things we will need. Plenty of water and thirst quencher drinks are good for motorcycle trips to keep you hydrated-it can be very hot out there on the highway, mountain, and rural roads. Smart and healthy snacks are good to take along such as granola bars and other small snacks that fit easily into your backpack or motorcycle compartments. You should also bring an easily stored tool kit that has things in it you might need for emergency repairs. The basics such as screwdrivers, spare nuts and bolts, plastic ties, extra bungee cords, and other small tools you may have to have are all great for these kinds of trips. If at all possible, and if you can spare the room, you might want to bring some extra oil and braking fluid as well as flashlights and matches. Be sure that you keep your matches in a plastic bag so they will remain dry during any rains you may encounter. Speaking of rain, when we can not find the pace car and take refuge in the SUV, we all take rainwear to protect us in rainfall whether it is light or strong. They make all sorts of rain weather gear these days along with gloves and jackets that are heated for cooler mountain or elevated areas. Other wearable gear needed is of course your helmet and make sure it is Department of Transportation or DOT certified in case you get stopped by any official, riding glasses, scarves for face protection, and a good pair of chaps to keep your legs warm and protected. Personal items to take in a plastic protected bag might be your toothbrush and toothpaste or other grooming needs you can not live without. You should also keep your wallet, credit cards, and money inside a plastic bag to protect them from harm-after all, they will definitely be needed when you get to your destination and also during your trip, particularly if the pace car is far ahead of you, or in the case of my buddy, far behind him. All folks going on the trip need to bring along a few towels for drying their bikes and windshields if you were to pass through any rain. If at all possible, use a reliable GPS unit on your bike that will confirm that you are on course and are not lost, even if you have planned your trip. Extra clothing is good if you get too wet or cold to change into including an extra pair of gloves or warm hat that you can wear under your helmet. When planning a weekend motorcycle trip, be sure to go with friends, as it can be challenging to go it out there alone. Plus, it is more fun to take friends along for laughing and seeing the open road together. Try to make sure friends or relatives at home know your route and where you are going in case they need to get a hold of you. Weekend motorcycle trips can be fun, exciting, and relaxing-especially if you have that awesome pace car with everything you do not want to carry.
