Are you passionate about Dance? I am. I'm a guy with a passion that is perhaps way beyond my ability but still my dream must go on. I have created DanceSteps-n-Dancing to fuel my passion for dancing. It is a forum to express your joy of dance, a place to share your thoughts and view some videos.
As a Dance Instructor my Mother's first love was dancing. She had her own dance school and also Instructed at a renowned School in Melbourne Australia. Melbourne is my birthplace. My mother wanted me to join her dance classes at an early age but I was reluctant to follow in her footsteps and I continually refused her efforts. My younger days of dancing were short lived for alas my mother died young seeing only the early days of my manhood.
As several decades past my interests began to change, I again clumsily graced the dance floor and have been doing so regularly , perhaps without so much clumsiness. I would like to think that I am now graceful and that some of my mother's teachings are with me. My wish is that she will know.
Dance is a reflection of our most primitive instinctual behavour. Other skills you'll develop as you learn to poise and grace and encourage coordination and muscle strength are particularly important in later life, The rhythm and balance that our bodies inherit from dancing are engraved in out hearts forever.
My liking of dancing and the many friends I have made has introduced me to a new way of life. I need to remind myself that other people may have different interests. When talking to people away from the dance scene I find it necessary to become a listener for I now realize they too have passions of their own.
My website is not in memory of my mother. She is just there. Perhaps with a guiding hand. DanceSteps-N-Dancing with Dance moves too is a site for you to come and experience the dance thoughts of others. You may post about anything related to dance, tell about your dance steps and dance moves experience, or just tells us your thoughts and memories.

Developing self confidence has been a wonderful benefit of my learning to dance. My self esteem has grow to new levels and I have acquired skills for many joys in life. Dancing to music removes your boredom of silent activities for you can change your environment simply by changing the dance music. Dancing is a great exercise routine too.
