Little Britain is a comedy which started on the BBC4 radio station in 2001. It proved to be very popular with listeners and in 2003 was transferred into a television sketch show. Little Britain is written by and starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams. After 3 successful series on the television the program moved onto the stage, under the apt name of 'Little Britain Live'.

Many of the characters on the show have their own catchphrases which are repeated often. Many of the characters and there catchphrases have become well-known in the United Kingdom, and the show has gained a large cult following. As the show gains more exposure across the world it now has a large fanbase in Australia and the United States.
