The annual festival that takes place this year on October 10 - 12, 2008. On both Friday and Saturday the festival is open from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm. On Sunday, the last day of the festival, the doors open at 10:00 am and close at 5:00 pm. All visitors are encouraged to bring a bottle of water and sunscreen for protection against the Las Vegas heat. The festival is located in Sunset Park at 2601 E. Sunset Road, in Las Vegas. Parking is free at the park, but space is limited ? so consider carpooling or public transportation.

The food vendors at the Las Vegas Renaissance Festival take joy in recreating the traditional feasts of the renaissance ? like turkey legs, shepherd's pie and a wonderful selection of English beer. The festival will accept vendor applications up to September 1st.

The 2008 Las Vegas Renaissance Festival has three confirmed performing acts (there are more to come). The main stage of the festival will host Tempest, The Tossers and Killians Angels. There will also be jousting acts, sword fighting, and other competitions. The festival recommends out-of-town guests to look at nearby by hotels, like Terrible's Hotel & Casino, for friendly convenience.
