[L289]Lg Shine For Sale
by Adam, Ada
KoreanElectronic giants LG have come up with a rather imaginative strategy to markettheir latest premium phone in the Black Label series. Branded the LG Shine(real name being a tedious LG KE970) this sizzling handset has been gifted toall the players of the Arsenal Football club's first team squad.

All theseLG Shine handsets are personalised for each and every player as their names areengraved on their respective handsets. This is a classic case of brand buildingthrough popular commercial media and for Brits it can't get bigger than thesestars shining in the galaxy of EPL. Well I'm nobody to comment on thecapabilities of Henry & Co. as despite their recent indifferent form theyhave proved their ability to succeed and charm everybody on and off the field. But about the mobile phone in spotlight, the sparkling LG Shine, I can surelycomment & criticise.

The handsetis the latest to hit the European markets after driving the mobile phone usersin Koreanuts in its CDMA avatar. The manufacturers expect the LG KE970 to shine withits amazing looks and mind boggling specifications. As far as I can see it willsucceed as the LG Shine has got all the ingredients right which are required toexcel in the highly competitive European mobile phone market.

It has ahighly attractive and sleek body that is full of attractive specifications. The2.2? mirror display of the LG Shine is worth 240x320 pixels and is a niceplatform for the integrated 2 megapixels camera to show its magic. Powered bySchneider Kreuznach lens this camera is as good as any digital mobile phonecamera as these are the very lenses that are used in Kodak cameras.

FlauntingTri-Band GSM compatibility, the LG Shine supports EDGE data transfer standardsand integrates a Bluetooth device for local file mobility. It has a fine musicplayer that supports multiple file formats and adds to the chutzpah of theimpressive handset. The underlining fact being that this highly usable handsethas been marketed in a perfect manner by gifting Arsenal player these handsets. These players almost have cult status amongst their fan base spread all acrossthe world and this move is going to pay rich dividends to the manufacturers LG.

The LG Shine is the coolest new phone around, LG have concentrated on improving the looks of their mobile phones recently and have had much success with their ‘Chocolate’ range of handsets. The New Shiny Shine phone has a polished chrome effect finish, with a reflective screen that disappears when you activate this little beauty.
The large 2.2" mirrored screen compliments the overall handset design and is an added quirk to the range of tasks a mobile can now facilitate, gone are the days of ‘Taking a photo of your self’ and checking your ok to go on your mobile, The LG Shine will just straight up show you your looking gorgeous.
The primary control is a roller bar in the middle of the handset, plus a couple of selector buttons. The roller bar allows you to roll through the menus, while pressing it or the further two buttons activates whatever icon you happen to be on. The LG Shine’s keypad un-slides to reveal a conventional keypad with a discrete checkerboard pattern.
Looking through the Looking Glass
Underneath, the LG Shine has a decent enough 240x320 pixel display, 2 mega-pixel camera with flash, 1Gb of memory, an MP3 player and all the usual software. LG have packed a lot into this phone giving it plenty of power. See here for the exact specs of this mobile phone.
The LG Shine was built with beauty in mind, and with regards to ‘beauty being in the eye of the beholder’, It was my face I could see when I looked at this phone, so I’ve got to say it was stunningly gorgeous
