Aer Lingus is the flag carrier of Ireland. Based in Dublin, it operates 41 Airbus Aircraft serving Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East. Aer Lingus recently announced plans for expansion in the long-haul programme. Currently, in its long-haul division it serves Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Dubai. By 2008, the company will have acquired two new Airbus A330s. One A330-200 and one A330-300X, increasing the long haul fleet to nine aircraft.
