Sarah Palin was born in Sandpoint, Idaho on February 11th, 1964. Palin's astrological chart reveals that she is an influential individual, whether that influence is for better or worse. Her youthful appearance is the result of being a forward thinking Aquarius and her Leo rising gives her a lot of charisma. The television cameras can't seem to take their lenses off her.

Sarah Palin's flakiness in public, which has made her the butt of many jokes on late night television, is also the result of having a lot of planets in Aquarius. Still, despite Palin's perceived shallowness, Aquarians are not usually tyrants. They are usually bright, sophisticated thinkers that have a vision even if they are not. They can make great leaders.

So why is Sarah Palin, who has so many natural positives to her character insist, being involved some questionable situations?

This might not be the optimum astrological time for Palin to run for the White House. Right now, Neptune, which is retrograde, and also about to go forward along with square Mars (in early November 2008) is a very troubled planetary position that is causing a lot of disturbance in general. Sarah has Neptune square her natal sun, which causes big trouble. Normally, Palin would just rise effortless to the top, but luck is not on her side. When Neptune is afflicted, it means that the person becomes foggy, lost, and unable to connect with others. Neptune is a planet of distortion, which might cause a person to be viewed unfairly.

Like all famous people, Sarah Palin has a stellium in her astrological chart and this one just happens to be in that seventh house of her chart. She has both Saturn and Mars in the seventh house, which means that people will always be somewhat hostile in the way people perceive her. Saturn is a planet that symbolizes criticism and Mars is a warrior energy that can even be violent.

At the time of her Vice Presidential nomination, the planet Neptune was actually transiting over her natal Neptune, which would be a once in a lifetime happening since Neptune is such as slow planet. This planetary position simply translates to mean "I can't win no matter what I do.That is also what might happen to Sarah Palin as she attempts to become Vice President of the United States. If Neptune were not crossing over the stallion of planets in her seventh house (which is the house of public opinion), she might not be the target of so much derision and be taken seriously in the press.

Even though she is a former beauty queen and seems soft on television, she has a moon in Capricorn, which makes her a fierce yet fair ruler. Unfortunately, this potential may never be fully exploited because the planets are really not on her side. Perhaps the main reason she rose to political prominence in the first place is because she has Jupiter in the ninth house, which, for most of her career, had her in the right place at the right time.

We'll find out on November 4th if the planets are in her favor in her quest with John McCain for the White House.

===> The Book of Job

In the great morality play of the Old testament, the book of Job, Job is defending himself to his friends, who are arguing with him. In the 12th chapter he says "Ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air and they will tell you." This is a clear reference to known omens used in divination. That reading the actions of animals, and the flight of birds can predict certain events.

He goes on to say, "Speak to the earth and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you." So here we have a righteous man of God suggesting that his friends look to the omens of nature to see that the hand of the Lord has brought him down to his cursed state.

===> 1st Corinthians

In Paul's first letter to the Corinthians chapters 12 and 14; he talks about spiritual gifts; how these gifts are given to men for the common good. In chapter 12, he list off several gifts, including " to another man, prophecy." Indicating that this was a gift from God.

Later in chapter 14, he speaks specifically about the gifts of Prophecy, and of speaking in Tongues. He tells the people to "eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy." And then at the end of the chapter, he says that "you can all prophesy in turn, so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged."

The implication is that Paul believed that prophesy and divination were gifts possessed by many people, and that they were to practice them and share with their brethren what they had seen.

===> Conclusion

So, we have evidence from the Bible that Prophesy, and divination weren't evil, but rather that they were gifts from God, to be desired by Christians, and used for the common good of all; a far cry from the idea spread by many churches today. So; go ahead and get that Numerology or Tarot reading with a clean conscience.
