Alternate energy mutual funds invest in companies that are developing ways to produce energy without harming the environment. You can join the huge movement of people who are interested in making money from alternative energy.
The world comes closer and closer to an energy crisis as the non-renewable sources of energy such as coal and oil, which are are major sources of power, become more depleted. This is the reason so many companies are scrambling to develop alternative sources of energy. They need money to do this, and alternative energy mutual funds can supply the money.
A mutual fund is an investment company that looks for small companies that have growth potential and then it invests in them. Remember the Microsoft story: a small company that was started in a garage.
Alternative energy mutual funds specialize in investing in companies that develop alternative energy. Some do this solely because they believe it is better for the earth. But others see alternative energy as the only option for power for the future.
Alternative energy is culled from the natural resources of the earth, such as wind, sun and air. Unlike the non-renewable sources of energy, these sources will continue into the future. People who invest in alternative energy mutual funds may not have to worry about their future! But there are risks to be considered with alternative energy mutual funds.
But all businesses have risk.
There are some viable alternative energy technologies that are not yet cost effective. The alternative energy mutual funds need to be selective about which firms they invest in. They have to make sure the company meets the environmental standards they may have, as well as the ability to use new technogies.
Change is inevitable, and everything in the world changes constantly, including people, their governments and their policies. These changes affect the companies that alternate energy mutual funds invest in.
How a company develops and grows will be determined by factors such as opportunities available and risks encountered. It is possible to make or lose a lot of money. But this, like everything in life is a gamble.
Alternative energy mutual funds have been primarily investing in other countries so that they can keep their investments diversified and take advantage of growth opportunities. But there are foreign exchange risks in this.
Alternative energy mutual funds are run by human beings, who are always prone to mistakes. One of those mistakes is to think they are investing in a company that has an alternate source of energy when all they are doing is adding additives to change the chemical makeup of the energy source. This is not a joke. Since the regulation of these companies is not strong, scams like this can happen.
There are many more riks that may have to be faced when considering investing in alternative energy mutual funds. But sometimes the end, helping the earth, is worth the risk.
It's amazing what some politicians, well, almost all politicians will say If you will recall, the first stop on the fixed race for the presidential election was Iowa. Iowa is a place where they grow a lot of corn! And the words coming out of the mouths of the presidential candidates were definitely corny! It was just rather sickening to observe this circus of clowns who claim to be the best choice for the highest office in America come out with statements that would make you think they had been staunch supporters of Ethanol as alternative fuel forever at the time when they were trying to win the Iowa caucus. Of course, the primary source of Ethanol right now is corn and this is not just another issue in Iowa but the biggest cash cow that they have their hands on. But knowing what I know about ethanol, if I was running for office, I would hope that I would have enough integrity to say, we follow the Constitution, the Constitution does not give the federal government stewardship over distributing arbitrary subsidies, but I will help restore the free market and if your corn works out to be a great alternative energy source, then you will undoubtedly flourish and prosper in Iowa. As a prime example, John McCain did a flip flop that would have made an Olympic gymnast or an Oriental magician proud of their agility. Prior to Iowa, McCain was known for his antipathy towards ethanol and for saying that ethanol's effect was to actually raise gas prices. He has claimed ethanol does nothing to make the U.S. more energy independent. He has even questioned the science behind making fuel from corn - contending that ethanol provides less energy than the fossil fuels consumed to produce it. "Ethanol is a product that would not exist if Congress didn't create an artificial market for it. No one would be willing to buy it," McCain said in November 2003. Yet in August of 07 just prior to the Iowa Caucus, McCain said, "I support ethanol and I think it is a vital alternative energy source not only because of our dependency on foreign oil but its greenhouse gas reduction effects," So what am I getting at? People live and die, a planet thrives or chokes, the global economy can boom or bust to no small degree based upon what political officials and leaders decide about future energy sources. And one of the worst options would be Ethanol. What I have researched on ethanol tells me that the result of a widespread use of it as a primary fuel source could very possibly include an even worse environmental scene, the most severe hunger situation the world has ever seen, rapid increase and shortage of supply of basic crops and foods and other impacts that could be quite devastating. Yet McCain and his fellow clowns running for the office of head clown think that alternative energy is something to use as a token with which to get elected to office.
The real hazard confronting humanity as we move further into the new millennium is that we could convulsely grasp for solutions in our hysteria about global warming which will muck things up even worse than they are right now.
But since that is the scene and the people in charge are not going to do anything sensible about it, that makes it more urgent for you and me to take responsibility. After all, it is OUR planet and it is OUR lives and there IS something that can be done about it!
While no individual can control the price of diesel fuel, any individual can become cause and increase their MPG In case you are not familiar, yes, safely splitting Hydrogen from water to generate a more optimum energy source is already a viable technology that is available for us all. Additionally, the technology isn't new; its just recently been better perfected so that we can use it. I said that I would describe more about the Water4Gas system. is sharing information at a low price which individuals can use at home to put together a small device which infuses hydrogen into the gasoline/air mixture that their car runs on. The process makes smaller particles out of the particles that the engine uses as fuel. Therefore the system is able to use considerably more of it. With WATER4GAS you can minimumly expect to reduce your gasoline consumption by 30-50% or significantly more. Those particles must have been pretty "blankin'" huge in some engines before. But with WATER4GAS they are made usable so you can reduce your gasoline consumption. It also helps make emissions substantially cleaner. This package of info has been purchased by over 9000 individuals already and the percentage of happy customers is about 99%! So how about you?
