It seems that "comedy" shaped breasts, those silicone injected, pneumatic centres of attention for every Barbie-esque individual (especially those in LA) are going out of fashion due to the wealth of choices available to women who want to improve their breast size. With new treatements coming out every month, it's high time someone put these supplements to the test to see what came out breast..I mean best. Here's a low down on two of the top contenders,
MACROLANE
Background
Having spent several years in development, this new treatment was launched a few months ago. It involves an injection of stabilised hyaluronic acid into the breast which allows the breast to be shaped to the desire of the client. The key is is in the fact that human skin is 40% hyaluronic acid and acts like a padding within the framework of the collagen. The difference is immediately noticeable with a smoother appearance being given and no lumps and bumps. With a treatment time of between 30 and 90 minutes, Macrolane can be administered quicklybut can be uncomfortable for a few days afterwards.
Does it work?
While is it said to give immediate results and that a more natural fullness can be achieved, some surgeons have stated that the difference is subtle and that after 12 months it will not be noticeable.
How safe is it?
having spent so many years being developed, Q-Med, the company behind Macrolane, claim that Macrolane is very safe. In addition, the translucency of Macrolane is better than that of silicon implants and this is a vital factor when it comes to mammography and the diagnosis or management of breast disease. Q-Med also only supply Macrolane to doctors who have been trained in its use.
Detractors of the prouct have stated that there is little evidence of Macrolane being a good product and that current users of Macrolane are being recruited as guinea pigs for ongoing research. Side-effects include a slight swelling and pain for approximately a week after treatment.
How long does it last?
Between one year and 18 months.
One treatment using 100ml for each breast will cost approximately £2,800. Additionally yearly treatments cost approximately £1,400.

The makers of Perfect C claim that effects are noticeable after two months, with improvements being fuller, firmer, larger breasts. Essiac herbal tea for cancer was named after a Canadian nurse by the name of Rene Caisse, Essiac being her last name written backwards. She was credited for refining the original formula which contained eight herbs into a tea containing the four essential ingredients. The following is a brief account of them.

* Turkey Rhubarb (Rheum Palmatum)
Cassie chose this variety of rhubarb over the common variety because it is less bitter and more effective. The root contains a number of vitamins such as B complex, C, A and P. It has a lot of the trace minerals needed by the body such as sodium, copper, iodine, iron, chlorine, calcium, manganese, potassium, magnesium, sulphur, phosphorus and zinc.
